I didn't expect that a woman and young boy were sitting on the same wood hanging bed as I found

Luna under.

My grasp on Luna's hand grew a bit tighter.

I called Seal over to me.

"Who are they and why are they locked down here.?"

"That's the previous King's queen, she and her son were put down here once you took control. We put

her down here since they are the family of the previous king, they might have revolted against you and

caused trouble."

"Why didn't you tell me.?"

"You asked for privacy so we decided to wait."

"Are you here to kill us.? No there's a girl with you so I doubt that to be true."

"No, Miss we're not here to kill you. I'm the new Demon King, I guess you realize the situation your in,

you and your son I mean."

"What do you plan to do with us, we may be related to the royal family but that seemed to be over

now."

"I see you have a child, I'm guessing he's your life."

"Mama who's that man.?"

"He's no one sweetie, just go back to sleep."

The boy nodded and laid his head against his mother's chest.

"You know Miss if you want you and your child to live a comfortable life all you have to do is swear that

you and your child won't go against my rule. If you do I could make sure that you'll have a comfortable

lifestyle much as you had before, your son will have that luxury as well."

"Open the door."

Seal walked over and unlocked the door pulling it open.

The mother grasped her child tightly as if fearing that he'll be taken away.

"It's your choice, I promise you all I've said, all you have to do is agree to what I've asked."

She looked at her son, still hesitant.

Luna spoke to her.

"You should agree, Miss.

"What's a human-like you doing here anyway, are you his slave?"

Leon seemed hostile toward that remark though Luna pulled him tight. Luna shook her head and

spoke.

"I'm his fiancé, the reason I'm not his slave is that I trusted him, if you want a happy ending for you

and your son and not one of heartache and sorrow, then suggest you agree to his proposal."

"I'll give you time to think it over. Seal have them taken..."

Leon turned to Seal almost leaving the situation.

"Alright..! If you promise that my son and I will be safe and live conformably then I'll agree."

"That's great, I think you've made a good choice."

"Shall we go, Luna.? You two follow as well."

"Is this all you needed to do down here.? Didn't you want to reminisce."

"Yea, but it's kinda hard to do that when there are others here. We can always come back, another

time."

"Alright."

Seal closed the doors after the two left the cell.

They followed behind me and Luna as Seal lead us out of the dungeon.

"You know I didn't even know the king was married, I guess I missed a lot being across the sea, without

paying attention to what goes on here."

"My husband didn't like showing us off, he didn't want anyone to try and assassinate us, so he made it

as discrete as possible."

"For such a talkative person you wouldn't think he'd be so secretive."
