Violette's steps were heavy as lead. She barely made it to the corner of the corridor, the short distance

“Mike, tell him to leave!" Her voice was full of pain as she covered her face with both hands.

Mike frowned, looking troubled. “He won't listen to me. You shouldn’t be going either. I'll call Joey!"

After calling Joey, Mike took a hold of Violette's hand and led her away.

When Joey arrived at the airport, he quickly found Elijah standing at check-in counter number 4.

Violette was gone. His heart, his soul, they've left with her. This was not the first time he'd been left

behind.
