” Can that happen? ” She asked and Brielle let out an unbelievably scoff. ” Watch it happen ” She said with an eye roll as she walked away leaving Layla alone in deep thoughts.

Is his feelings for me really going to fade off? Would I really be at a losing point?

Layla let out a sigh as that gave her a terrible headache again. She couldn’t think properly.

** Next Day **

* Kent’s Enterprise *

” Morning ” Layla greeted Tina as she walked into their office. Tina was a bit suprised to see her. She raised her brows questioningly.

” You came to work? ” She asked suprisingly and Layla nodded. ” I guess ” Layla muttered as she walked over to her seat. Tina got up from her seat and walked over to her.

” You know you’re causing harm to yourself right? ” She asked and Layla raised her brows tho she seemed to get a hint of what she was about saying to her.

” Claus told me about the matter between you and Shane ” She said and Layla nodded, her thoughts were right anyways.

” Do you think you would be really fine with you two being apart? ” Tina asked worriedly. Layla let out a sigh. ” I don’t know.. I don’t really know what to do at this rate ” She muttered truthfully.This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.

” You should just tell him you want him back since he’s promising to give up some things for you. He loves you so much and I’m really sure he feels no thing for his wife again. Even if you give up and you think he would be okay with Brielle. I really don’t see no truth in that. I don’t think he’s going to be okay with Brielle. I don’t really think so ” Tina advised and she let out a sigh.

It’s the same thing everyone’s telling her, * Go back to Shane * but can she really do that? Yeah, she doesn’t think she can be okay with the two of them separating but a part of her thinks she would be okay after some few weeks but that doesn’t seem to coming true anytime but it would happen anyways.

Shane would give up on her and eventually fall for his wife while she would finally lose her feelings for Shane and in the end might find someone else she loves and everything would be okay then.

Can that really happen as per her thought? That’s what she has in mind but it doesn’t look like it’s coming to pass with the look of things at that moment.

But would she go back to Shane and that’s going to cause a disruption in his marriage life. He has a wife and she’s so in love with him. She cares so much about others and wouldn’t want to hurt Brielle’s feelings.

She let out a sigh for the umpteenth time and looked up at Tina who had a hopeful look on, hoping she would give a positive response and head to her advice.

” I would find my way out. Thanks for caring ” Layla muttered. Tina sighed disappointedly before walking over to her seat.

Layla took a glance at the files in front of her and remembered she had to present them to Shane. She got up on her feet and headed out of the office.

She headed straight to Shane’s office. She was about knocking but decided against it, she doesn’t want attention or anything that would have to do with her saying a word to Shane.

Slowly, she pushed the door opened and her eyes met with the most hurtful scene ever. She held her chest as tears suddenly streamed down her cheeks. She couldn’t control her tears. There was Brielle feasting on Shane’s lips.

She slowly closed the door gently not attracting their attention. She really have to give up, seems Brielle wouldn’t give up and with the look of things, Shane might finally lose feelings for her and fall in love with Brielle again. Then everyone would be okay right?

She wiped her tears slowly tho they kept coming out as she walked back to her office. She got to her office’s door and wiped her tears gently before walking in. Tina didn’t really notice her teary face but she noticed she brought back the files she was supposed to give to Shane.

” He isn’t in his office? ” Tina asked with a raised brows. ” No he is. He’s busy ” She muttered and Tina nodded tho she was still confused. No matter how busy Shane was, he would always take any files Layla brought to him and that was why she had always loved to send Layla to give the important files to him so he could work on them. But he refused a file from her? Or is she lying cause she saw something disheartening?

She waved the thought off after a last glance at Layla who seemed to be okay again. She faced her work properly.

** Shane’s Office **

Brielle broke the kiss slowly and bit her lips slowly while Shane only stared at her. He had decided against pushing her away when she had kissed him without his knowledge.

” I’m sorry.. I only wanted to have a taste of you for the last time ” She muttered. ” You’re leaving? So soon? ” Shane asked suprisingly and she nodded. ” Oh ” He muttered guiltily. He was feeling really guilty at that moment.

” I’m sorry ” He muttered seriously and Brielle only gave a short smile. ” It’s fine, I already informed mom and dad and tho they were suprised at first, they had no choice than to accept after I explained things to them. But you don’t have to worry, I will help make things right between you and Layla before I leave since I caused everything ” She said and Shane nodded.

” But what do you mean since you caused everything? ” Shane asked and Brielle let out a short sigh. ” Well, I did some things intentionally that would discourage her and make her want to give up on you ” She said truthfully and Shane muttered an ” oh ”

” So that was the reason why she had insisted on we separating ” He muttered to himself. ” You don’t have to worry. Since I ruined things, I would have to fix it back. I would do that before I leave, I promise ” She said and Shane let out a short smile.

” Thanks ” Shane muttered and she also smiled lightly.

** At a rooftop *

” Why are we here? ” Layla asked confusedly as Brielle led her to a rooftop. Brielle let out a little smile. ” Do not worry, I ain’t doing anything bad to you. I can’t try that when your lover is a millionaire ” She said jokingly but Layla didn’t find it funny.

” I don’t have a lover. I and Shane never dated and I don’t think you should be saying this, he’s your husband. You wanted him and I left him for you. Why are we here anyways? ” She went straight to the point.

” I know you love Shane so much and it’s the same thing for him. You two can’t do without each other and ’cause of this. I have decided to give up and leave you two to yourselves ” She said and Layla raised her brows in shock. ” Huh? ” She asked in shock and Brielle nodded slowly.

” Yeah I know you might think I’m stupid and making a dumb decision but as long as it would benefit you two and Shane.. tho I love him so much, I would give up anything for him and if making him happy involves leaving him for you two, I made up my mind to do so… ”

” I had knew right at the first moment I saw you two together. I knew he was so much in love with you two and I was a disruption to you two’s love life but I didn’t care about that. I thought I could get Shane back and win his heart but it seems the heavens aren’t really in my favor this time around ” She muttered while Layla only stared on at her in shock.

” Say something ” She tapped Layla lightly and she jerked back to consciousness. ” Brielle you.. I.. I’m speechless. You don’t want Shane anymore? ” Layla asked confusedly and Brielle nodded.

” Yeah, since you planned on giving him up for me and tho you weren’t okay, you still cared about my emotions and feelings while yours was at stake, but still you went ahead to do that.. that’s called love. It shows you really love Shane so much and you should be the one for him and not me ” Brielle said leaving Layla completely speechless and in shock.
