Ranita knew he had many thoughts.

“How can you comfort someone like this?” Ranita placed her palm on his face, turning away. “I don’t want it!”

“Ranita…” Brendon called her softly.

His voice was low, but it felt like a flame igniting in her ear, making it warm and itchy.

Ranita’s heart was completely under his control.
