“Brendon, can we go out to eat? I’m a bit hungry.” She paused and instinctively moved closer to Brendon. “You know I need to eat on time, or I’ll get low blood sugar.”

“If I faint, you’ll have to take me to the hospital! What a hassle! Brendon, let’s go!”

“Ranita, do you really think you’ve won?” Shannon laughed quietly. “Brendon may have broken off our engagement, but I’m still around him. Besides, I saved his life. Do you think he can easily get rid of me?”

Shannon paused and continued, “Ranita, don’t you have someone you like? Why not go after him?”

“I promise I won’t compete with you for Ayaan. You live your life, and I’ll live mine. We won’t interfere with each other.”

“Isn’t that better?”

Shannon had thought a lot during this time and had calmed down.

Aldo was completely useless now. Brendon and Mr. Goodman had even sent him to a mental hospital, where he would likely never come out!

“The Bowman family has so many people, and that wild child of yours… if anything happens to any of them, you’ll cry yourself to death!”

Ranita frowned, her expression angry. “Shannon, what are you planning?”

“Hmph! Didn’t I tell you? Leave quietly and never appear in front of me again, and I’ll let you go.”

“Otherwise, don’t blame me for being ruthless!”

Shannon smirked and walked away.
