“Ayaan?” Ranita searched the entire ward but couldn’t find him. She felt a sudden chill, and her head started to spin.

In an instant, Ranita felt all her strength drain away. She quickly ran to Benedict’s side and pushed him forcefully, “Dad! Dad!”

“Wake up! Wake up!”

Ranita had gone out to make a phone call for about twenty minutes, and Benedict had fallen asleep during that time, which worried her.
