The glimmer of hope subsided in her eyes as she drilled her icy glare into the prince.

"Are you casting me aside now? Don't you know I'm a princess?"

Madeline was not looking for an answer, but rather, she was reminding the prince who he was dealing

with.

Adam stood up and applauded.
