Chapter 278 Almost Dead

Every night, roving guards were placed around the Nalan mansion to ensure the safety of the Nalan

members.

When Nelson walked downstairs, he saw some guards and told them, "Go and check the grass over

Amanda Zhang waited for her daughter Amy until night. She was furious at the fact that she couldn't

contact Amy because her phone was turned off.

Bob Qi looked at Amanda and shook his head. He was getting dizzy looking at Amanda pace around

the room back and forth.

"She sent a message saying that she was hanging out with Sarah Shen. If you worry about her, then

call Sarah!"

After listening to her husband, Bob, Amanda remembered that her daughter Amy sent a message

Amanda got so worried that she forgot to check with Sarah.

you a message last night, but you still called her friend to confirm. You're embarrassing our daughter in

front of her friends!"

"I am worried about her! She is a girl. How can she stay out alone the whole night?" Amanda retorted.

"Why not? She is all grown up. She studied in England alone. Why not now?" Bob said.

"Do you want to continue fighting about this?" Amanda was getting heated.

Sarah called Amy right after her conversation with Amanda. She wanted to inform Amy that her mother

was looking for her.

She tried to reach Amy again and again, but Amy wasn't answering her phone.

Sarah started to panic.

She had lied. Amy did not stay with her last night.

At that moment, Sarah felt anxious.

One day later, Sarah still had no clue where Amy was. She tried to reach Amy's phone again, but she

still couldn't reach her.

So she decided to call Amy's mother.

"Amanda, is Amy back home?"
