EPISODE 77 A blessed union
SOME WEEKS LATER
The wedding was to take place in moon stone pack as planned on the same day they hd agreed on few weeks ago.
“You are so beautiful.” Penelope complimented her sister’s looks.
The bride, chief bridesmaids in person of Brianna, Penelope and Hazel are all in the dressing room. Helen the event planner walked briskly into the dressing room.
“Helen, is everything fine in the hall?” Hazel asked.
“Yes. The ushers are seating the last set of guests in the hall now. After the arrangement, no one would be allowed to enter the hall, until the bride has made her entry.” Helen looked them all over with her eagle eyes. She shook her head with a smug look on her face for the job well done by the make up artists.Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
“You all look beautiful.” Helen pronounced before glancing down at her wrist watch. “We should get ready to leave now.” She said, and made her way out of the room.
Brianna and Hazel helped the bride up so she could see her reflection in the mirror. Meagan’s hair was packed up in an elegant bun with strands of hair curled at the sides to frame her beautiful face. And sitting on top of her head was a shiny silver crown encrusted with crystals. Her wedding dresses was designed with floral like white roses and adorned crystal buttons to compliments the uniqueness. The gown floated softly over her tummy which was beginning to expand but not too obvious and a sheer veil completed the bridal look.
Meagan was feeling nervous and also impatient. Hazel noticed it. “Relax.. Meagan.. everything would be fine okay?” Hazel comforted her.
“Do you need a calming pills?” Penelope asked.
“No.. no.. I’ll be fine.” Meagan stuttered as she looked at each faces in the dressing room.
Hazel leaned closer to hold her hand. “I know you are feeling nervous. But trust me I felt this way on my wedding too and you were there to help me relax.” She smiled.
“Oh Hazel.. thank you for always being there all these years.” Meagan embraced her best friend.”Thank you for looking out for me every time. And-” Her voice trailed off.
Hazel withdrew from the embrace. “Don’t start crying now. Please.. don’t cry. I don’t think alpha Carl would forgive me for making his bride cry before the ceremony.”
Penelope passed her sister a tissue. “Don’t ruin your make up.”
Meagan nodded with a smile on her face. A knock on the door indicated that it was time for the bride to go out. Helen popped her head in as Chloe touched the bride’s face with little make up.
“It is time. Everyone of waiting to see the star of today.” Helen said.
Everyone giggled while Hazel put the sheer veil over Meagan’s face carefully. And they all led the bride out of the dressing room to the grand hall.
Alpha Carl Damien was waiting impatiently to see his bride. He was wearing a black tuxedo, inside was a white shirt along a black bow tie. The groomsmen were wearing navy blue suits, pink shirt inside too with either bow ties or neck ties and all bearing a pink silk in their breast pockets. The bridesmaids are mostly young girls from Meagan’s family and few of Carl’s too. And they were all dressed in a navy blue sweet neckline straight gowns with three layers around their knees.
Meagan smiled happily when she saw alpha Carl and his men at the entrance of the hall. Her worries and nervousness all disappeared as he smiled back at her. She felt at peace at the sight of her mate and the fact that everything was going well as planned and everyone was cooperating with the plans. And also looking at the nearly perfect arrangement of the bridesmaids gathered around her set Meagan in a better mood.
“You look amazing, Meagan.” Alpha Carl complimented with a huge smile spreading on his lips which reflected on Meagan’s perfectly painted ones.
“You look.. stunning too.” Meagan whispered even though her cheeks were flushing red.
The grand hall was decorated with white lace ribbon and plentiful of flowers in different shades of colors. It was packed to the brim and the guests were all seated efficiently. The initial plan was to keep a small wedding but it couldn’t work out considering the size of both families. Parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, nephews, pack members and friends to the couple attended the wedding. And Carl’s mother had welcomed Meagan into the family with happiness and she also embraced her family too with warmth approval.
A melodious sound of the piano in the hall sent a signal to alpha Carl and his groomsmen to make their entry according to the cue given to them by the event planner. After alpha Carl Damien positioned himself at the altar, he waited impatiently for the arrival of his bride.
Meagan was given the cue to make her entry too with the bridesmaids. Mr Swift held his daughter with Brianna behind them helping with the long train of the gown while they walked down the aisle. When they finally reached the groom, Mr Swift entrusted his daughter to the man who has promised to take care of her for the rest of his life.
The head of Epsilon group announced the presence of the couple. “The mating ceremony begins now!” He pronounced the start of the ceremony.
He took a knife and a goblet from the altar and raised it up for the guests to see. “We are all here for the union of our reliable alpha Carl Damien and Meagan Swift who would be our certified Luna starting from today. May this union be blessed by the moon goddess and shower them with strength to stick together in order to rule this pack in peace and harmony.” The head of Epsilon prayed.
