movement jostled the puppy, causing it to tumble onto the car floor.

Axel swiftly hit the brakes, a look of concern crossing his face. He stepped out of the car, lifting the

drowsy dog back into his arms. “I’m sorry. That must have. hurt,” Axel apologized, his empathy evident

in his voice. “But at least you know what it feels like to have your sleep interrupted, so I guess we’re

“Puppy!” echoed a little girl’s delighted squeal as she caught sight of the dog nestled in Axel’s arms.

When he pulled in at a shopping mall. Her eyes lit up anticipation. “Can I hold him?” she pleaded, her

excitement palpable. Axel, momentarily taken aback by the fervor the small canine had generated,

wondering:‘ all this excitement for a dog?; eventually obliged. Lowering the puppy gently into the eager

girl’s arms, the once–sleeping creature transformed into a playful ball of fur. It wagged it’s

enthusiastically, and with equal enthusiasm, it showered the girl with affectionate licks, eliciting joyous

laughter from her.

After concluding their shopping adventure, Axel retraced his steps back to the pack house, already the

last of his things he would be moving with had been packed. The estate there was his. So he decided

not to leave the house completely bare.

Upon arriving at his newly acquired apartment suite, Axel meticulously unloaded. the multitude of items

he had amassed throughout the day. Engaging in an extensive shopping spree, he procured groceries

and toiletries not only for himself but also for his latest addition, the dog. The apartment’s ambiance

underwent a noticeable transformation, departing from the usual minimalist appearance of Axel’s

previous dwellings.

Intriguingly, Axel’s living space now boasted an eclectic array of dog essentials, from specialized

equipment to an assortment of playful toys and a comfortable bed.

This meticulous planning manifested in a thoughtful selection of items, balancing practicality with a

touch of aesthetic appeal. Axel had spared no expenses. He had no plans of keeping the dog for long

but figured he had to get. everything well in place. When sending the puppy back to the shelter he

It reminded Axel of the special dietary requirements suggested by the vet, particularly tailored to

accommodate the distinctive needs of the puppy’s breed when it came to sustenance.

Unfortunately, Axel’s plans had hit a snag when he discovered that the grocery store he had initially

visited was completely out of stock of the prescribed food brand and he and completely forgotten about

it. A resigned sigh escaped him as he reluctantly abandoned his half–eaten dinner, faced with the

challenge of finding a suitable alternative that evening.

Stepping outside, the cold air embraced Axel, carrying with it the unmistakable scent of impending rain.

Undeterred, he retraced his steps to the elevator, making his way back to his flat to fetch a hoodie in

preparation for the weather change. Amid his search, his hands happened upon a larger one with a

zipper extending to cover part of the face.

With an annoyed grunt he headed back downstairs blaming the dog for how his life had turned, what

kind of dog select’s food he wondered in annoyance.

Axel ventured into a store nestled among the neighboring buildings, a beacon of hope in his

determined search. After scanning the shelves he finally laid his eyes on the coveted item–the last can,

standing alone on the shelf. With careful consideration.

Axel, armed with the singular can of dog meal, embarked on the journey back to his apartment. Rain

begun to fall as he had suspected. It started with a gentle drizzle, which soon evolved into a rhythmic

downpour. Unfazed by the rainfall, Axel was covered completely within the sheltering folds of his

hoodie, the rhythmic beat of the raindrops providing an oddly comforting soundtrack to his solitary

stroll.

In the midst of this atmospheric tranquility, Axel’s serene stroll was abruptly interrupted by the insistent

buzz of his phone. Pausing momentarily, he retrieved. the device, his attention shifting from the

soothing cadence of raindrops to the impending call.

““Mr. Wild,” Axel intoned solemnly into the phone, expecting a routine business. exchange to unfold.

He was suddenly hit and assaulted. The phone sl*pped from his grasp, clattering to the floor, as an

onslaught of blows rained down upon him.

determined, retrieved the umbrella. Amidst the tumult, a voice. shattered through the chaos.

A realization struck him, he was being attack by a woman, her words cutting through the rain–soaked

air.

Exercising restraint, Axel refrained from retaliating, aware that a single defensive move on his part

could have dire consequences for the assailant. Irritation surged within him as the umbrella struck his

head once more, but he held back, understanding the potential repercussions of his actions.

“Leave me alone, you stalker!” the woman’s voice echoed. Axel, now standing in a defensive stance,

felt a mix of frustration and confusion. The umbrella’s impact persisted, prompting Axel to assertively

seize it midair, preventing further blows. from landing on his person.

“Enough!” he yelled, a fusion of anger and exasperation coloring his tone. As the rain continued to fall,
