Elijah's name. She left the dining room and walked into the living room to answer the call.

"Violette, I'll be waiting for you at the hospital tomorrow morning." His tone was not one of negotiation.

"Got it," She responded after a moment of silence.

"Let's have dinner together tomorrow night! You were looking for Makayla last time you came over,

weren't you? I'll bring her out tomorrow." His voice was deep and magnetic. "Bring your kids too. It's

Children's Day tomorrow."

"Elijah..." Violette started, wanting to refuse.

Violette? I want to talk to her."
