Andre was fierce and started to grow a wicked heart. Vanessa has been healed but she’s under more stress than she actually went through to this date. Andre paid off some maids in the house and told them to return in two months. He wants Vanessa to replace every single one of them he paid off. He wants her to do all the work in order to repay the clothes and other things she took from his mother’s store and sold to Robert and Danica. She did not hesitate and started to work immediately.

“You seem to be doing well as a maid rather than someone who wants to be treated right”, Andre said.

Vanessa looked up at his face and released a sigh. She continued to clean the kitchen sink and ignored him totally.

“Oh wow, now you are deaf”, he added.

Still ignoring him, he pulled her by her waist and immediately she poured the dirty water from the bowl she was using in cleaning on him. Disgust ran over him, he pushed her and headed for his room with anger, slamming any door that comes through his way.

“We killed the wrong person”, a man informed his gang.

“What do you mean?”, one of them asked.

“The real person to kill is Miles”, the first man announced.

“I know him and I know how and where to find him”, the lady among them informed the gang.

“I have always known that guy we killed was innocent”.

One of the gang members was working with Miles so he had feeded him on the new information. Miles had to go hiding. It was a tough decision to make on where he would hide.

“I would stay with Lance and his son, I would be safe there for now”, Miles thought in his head.

After knocking for two hours, there was finally a response on the door. It was the same lady who got his relationship into mess.

Selma opened the door and gave Miles a flirty look. She only had her towel on. He was pretty sure she was naked underneath.

“What in the world are you doing here?”, Miles asked.

“I should ask you that. You have no business here, no family, no girlfriend”, she answered him.

“Who the fuck are you to say that?”, Miles asked her again.

“A part of this family is who I am”, she replied.

“What do you want Miles?, Why are you both arguing?”, Trey asked the pair.

“I was wondering what she is doing back here”, Miles answered.

“Well, she’s here to stay. I could not do without the love of my life”, Trey informed him. Selma and Trey got back to dating few days ago. Selma couldn’t help it. She was always thinking about him and how he treated her. Selma went on to apologize and Trey accepted her back into his life.

“Can i come in?”, Miles asked.

“Yes sure”, Trey answered.

“Where is Lance?”, Miles asked again.

As soon as Trey was going to respond, Selma cut in.

“You are asking to much questions. I need my man now. Bye!”.

Miles hissed. “Why don’t you just shut the fucking fuck up?”, he asked.

“He’s back at the coffee shop. Selma raised the money to get new equipments in the shop and made it look bigger and nicer. Sales has been rapid too”, Trey answered trying to sort out the noise the pair still made.

Few hours later,

“Babe, your phone is ringing”, Selma said as she handed Trey his phone.

Trey and Miles were in the middle of a game. Selma was in the bedroom while the men were playing the FIFA soccer game on the PlayStation four(4) console.

“Okay thanks, I would answer it after this match”, Trey informed Selma.

The calls wouldn’t stop, it kept coming it in like I was very important.

“We should pause the game so you can answer the call”, Miles informed Trey.

“Okay fine”, Trey agreed immediately and called back the number.

“Hello, you’ve been calling repeatedly”, Trey said as soon as there was a response on the call. It was a female’s voice.

“Hello sir, Is this Trey Warner?”, the lady asked.

“Yes, any issue?”, he asked.

“Not really, but you have to be at the city’s hospital right now”, she informed him. She also added she is a nurse at the hospital.

Trey felt it in him that it was an emergency issue, so he informed the two other people in the house as they set to leave for the hospital. Miles wore a mask just be extra protective of himself and they drove off in Selma’s Bentley. She just bought it from the Club’s money. Club Nexus was back in shape and has been doing well recently.

They got to the hospital exactly thirty seven minutes from the call. Trey had rushed down to the nurse’s office after following the instructions she gave him.

“Sir please take things easy”, the pretty nurse said in a mild tone.

“Follow me”, she informed them.

As they opened the door, Lance was seeing on the bed looking lifeless. Several injections had been administered to him and more were still coming in to save his life. Tears dropped from each person’s eyes. The nurse informed them he was rushed down since morning but they could not get his family members telephone numbers. Lance was in coma. The nurse also said he had a slim chance of surviving it.

It was the same at Italy, Andre’s mother had just been rushed down to the hospital and was diagnosed of low sugar level, high blood pressure and food poisoning. This was unbearable to hear. Andre was furious who could have poisoned his mother. She never ate any meals she didn’t cook herself. It was really confusing.

“Be prayerful sir, she will be fine”, the doctor informed him.

“Vanessa!, Vanessa!!”, a voice cried out from the other side of the fence. She was in the compound of the house cleaning and worried about Andre’s mother.

The voice calling her finally revealed himself. He had a ladder and climbed up the fence of the house.

Andre was on his way back from the hospital, and from the car saw the man jumping into the compound from over the fence.

He increased his acceleration and drove as fast as he could to reach the house faster.

The man fell on the floor, but all that didn’t matter.

Vanessa ran to him and gave him a tight hug. She could not contain her tears and emotions.

Soon after realizing the big mess, Vanessa shouted,

“You need to go now, he will be back anytime soon”.

The man did just that and without hesitation, he went back up the fence with one of the ladders in the compound and started running as soon as he sighted Andre’s car.

The man got lucky and was able to escape the wrath of the young man Andre.

He gave Vanessa a new phone and has a sim with it. She immediately hid it in one of the holes on a tree in the compound. It was safe from Andre there. She was still thinking of the big risk he took and how he was able to find the house.

Andre’s horn sounded, Vanessa ran into the house to avoid any suspicions. Andre did not see the man’s face at all. He just could have easily concluded it was a thief but he wouldn’t think that way. No one would dare try that not even by that time.

Selma had made spaghetti for dinner but Trey was deep in thoughts about his father’s health. Miles had eaten up but was not inside the house.

“He will be fine I know it”, Trey assured himself and stood up to eat with Selma.

Asides the bad characters she sometimes showed and being a whore, Selma was a very good cook. She won state championships for best young chef thrice from ages thirteen to seventeen. It was a delicious meal for dinner.

Two men were exchanging words and one could easily tell one of them was Miles, but who was the fighting with by this time. Trey ordered Selma to stay back as he went to have a look on what was happening on the frontyard.

“Oh my-!”, Trey screamed.

Selma could not help but rush out to find out what made her man shout.
