Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 606

Chapter 606

It was Trevor who ruined her relationship; he was the one who tormented her entire life!

As they held each other's gaze, Trevor's grip became tighter while his tongue was flushed with a sense of bitterness. Right before the words left his mouth, his phone rang once again and reminded him of an important issue. He reluctantly withdrew his hand.

"I have all the time in the world, so I'll definitely be waiting for you this time!"

Right then, he brought out his phone, but he merely looked at it without answering the call. Instead, he turned around and opened the door while he muttered, "I'm sorry..."

Leaving her behind with nothing more than those two words, he sighed faintly as he slowly walked out of her house and closed the door. Gazing at the entrance, she remained still for a very long time...

That night was another sleepless night for her.

Sadly, Victoria had no time to grieve. The very next morning, she was awakened by another urgent call before she rushed over to the studio with a slice of bread in her hand. As soon as she arrived at the entrance, her eyes were instantly attracted by the large tulip bouquet.

Unquestionably, she obviously knew who had delivered the bouquet of tulips to her!

The tulips were wrapped in a familiar packaging, shape, and design; it was clearly her favorite bouquet of flowers! Undoubtedly, Anthony was the only one who would add a pair of tassels to the side of a bouquet as a fluttering whisper of her nickname, Rhea. He once said her nickname carried some sort of magic, just like she did in person. According to him, it was able to attract people and compel them to listen to her requests.

At that moment, her fond memories of the past were like knives that drove straight into her heart.

In that instant, she grabbed the bouquet and immediately threw it into the dustbin that was filled with fertilizers. She then turned around and swiftly headed towards the office. Slumped in her swivel chair, she found herself inexplicably irritated.

"What on Earth are men thinking about? Does Anthony have no shame at all, did he honestly send me flowers as if nothing had happened?!"

Shortly, she got up and brewed herself some coffee while she gently rubbed her aching forehead, "It's all Trevor's fault that I didn't get a good night's sleep again!"

"What sin did I commit to deserve all these punishments?"

In the midst of her depressing whine, Victoria was brought back to her senses by the soft ticking sound of a clock. Briefly, she stood up and poured herself a cup of coffee. She then wandered to the window and took a look at the sunny sky outside which slowly calmed her down. Later on, she headed back and began her hectic day of work.

The exhibition was just around the corner and she was continuously slammed with work everyday. On the contrary, Anthony had also been delivering bouquets of flowers to her for the following days. She was inexplicably annoyed whenever she saw it! Although she had informed the receptionist to reject the flowers from the delivery man countless times, yet it was inevitable that the flowers would end up on her table every morning.

On that day, she walked into her office and saw the same bouquet of flowers again. To her surprise, she was no longer irritated by it; instead she merely dumped it into the dustbin.

It became her daily routine! Everyday, she would drag out a large garbage bag before washing her hands and brewing her morning coffee. Out of boredom, she turned on the music softly and scrolled through her phone. Shortly, she then gave Alicia a call while she began to wonder,

"This is strange... Why isn't Alicia replying to my text messages or calls? What sort of shenanigans could she possibly be up to?" "Is she really that busy as I am? Do I really need to go to her office to get her attention?"

Glancing through the calendar, she thought about the upcoming exhibition and the heap of work that awaited her for the days to come. Eventually, she gave up calling Alicia and simply sighed in despair,

"Forget it, I'll meet up with you later to treat you! Wait a minute, you're supposed to treat me instead, I'm the one who's in a foul mood!"

Victoria muttered to herself as she turned around to fetch her coffee and leaned against the table. After a sip of coffee, she then stretched her hands and circled around the room. All of a sudden, a notification popped up on the screen of her phone.

[Who Said Master Trevor Isn't a Gentleman: A Romantic Moment Under The Snow.]

Trevor Clements?

It was him indeed!

Victoria stared at the viral picture on her phone and realized that it was taken in South Korea. Apparently, Trevor was holding a woman's hand as they strolled under the snow night. The woman's back and one side of his face was visible in the picture. The tenderness of his smile and the warmth of his eyes would've melted the snow in a blink of an eye!

Scrolling through the pictures, she found it unbelievable how a devilish playboy like him was ever capable of being gentle!

She clicked on the link and read the article from top to bottom as her lips subconsciously curled up in disbelief.

"Trevor was in Seoul for the past few days?" She thought to herself.

"Is this the woman who called him the other night? Did he leave in a hurry because of her? Who is she? Why isn't her face in the pictures and why isn't her name there either?" She wondered.

However, judging by the looks of it, the both of them weren't just in any sort of relationship. In fact, you could tell that he no longer looked at any other women around him

Her eyes were fixed on Trevor's distinctly curved eyes and the smirk by the corner of his lips. All of a sudden, a heavy feeling instantly struck her chest.

"What a two-timing b*stard! Isn't he ashamed of himself?! That pervert!"

She was cussing and complaining continuously throughout the day; her mood wasn't lightened up either. As she switched off her phone, she immediately swallowed her cup of coffee in a single gulp.

On the other hand, Trevor was fiddling with his pen in the president's office of Sofa re Entertainment Company. Right then, his eyes then fell upon the brocade box which he held with his other hand.

As Holger walked into the office with some documents in his hand, he saw Trevor who was staring off into blank space. Sticking out his head, he noticed how Trevor had still kept the necklace that he previously bought from the business trip. He giggled faintly.

"Can't decide which girlfriend you should give the necklace to, can you?"

Trevor rolled his eyes and buckled the necklace before he impatiently snatched the documents away from Holger's hands. The documents were finally approved with his signature on them after a week of inspection.

"We have to launch the three online drama series that I've invested millions in as soon as possible! Make sure that the dramas consist of different genres. Besides, it's a good time to launch them as the cost is low now. The results will be favorable for us as we can gain a great accumulation of audience and the novelty for these series. Who knows, these dramas might even become a huge hit in the future! Therefore, we need to speed things up."

"Are you trying to imply that these few dramas are a trial run?"

Trevor nodded his head and spoke.

"Haven't we recently recruited a new batch of rookies? It'll be an opportunity for them to earn some cash with those charming faces! Notify all the departments to pay more attention to their qualifications during the selections. Don't waste too much money on this without gaining anything back!

"I understand!"

Holger attentively jotted down a few notes during their discussion. Once they were done, Holger said, "I'll leave for now if there's nothing else left!" A thought flashed across his mind as soon as he got up and he instantly notified Trevor about it.

"That's right, I've been informed that Miss Atlas will be having a year-end cocktail party for her own brand, D & jill, this coming Saturday night at Shine Pearl Tower. If I remember correctly, you told me to remind you about it!"

"You're saying that she rented such a big venue... just for D & jill's launch party?"

Victoria must've been out of her mind! She could have easily avoided the high cost rental if only she approached him about it! Frankly, was her income even sufficient to cover the rental?Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Holger continuously nodded his head while he exclaimed.

"Miss Atlas has her fame in the designing industry after all! Her brand produces a wide range of clothing, from casual outfits to fancy evening gowns that are sold at a reasonable price. There are many influencers in the entertainment industry who approach her for her affordable masterpieces! Besides that, aren't the ladies attracted

cooperated with many other well- known designers. Nevertheless, she is known as Jill's renowned designer. A lot of famous film directors, movie stars, and photographers simply can't resist her mesmerizing charm. Those who tried to confess to her had fainted

Unknowingly, the brand 'Jill' was actually another pseudonym for Victoria Atlas!

With a thought hovering in his mind, Holger deliberately coughed as he added, "Moreover, I've heard that she despises... playboys that showed no

commitment towards love!"
