As usual on Kyle’s birthday, my regular alarm woke me up, saying, “It’s your best friend birthday today, time to wake up.”

I should have groaned at the voice of the alarm that woke me up from a beautiful dream I was having; I saw myself engaging Lisa, and she is about to answer.

I stood up from the bed and did a little exercise before going into the bathroom to paste.

After everything, I searched for my phone in the bedroom to call Kyle and wish him the very best today.

“Hey, dude,” I said over the phone.

“I am so killing you for this; you just ruined my sleep, man,” Kyle replied, yawning so loud on the phone.

“I don’t plan to insult you on your birthday; happy birthday, best friend, let’s have breakfast together as your first gift from me to you.” I smiled.

“You are silly, man; thanks anyway, but let’s work out a little this morning; I need to avoid mom and Clara.”

“No problem, at the workout home at 20.”

“Sure.” He ended the call.

I decided to call Lisa but stopped; I assumed she might be sleeping too, and I won’t want to ruin her rest.

I got several texts from Jordan; I just ignored them and got set to meet up with silly Kyle.

“Birthday man in the building,” I said, shaking hands with Kyle.

“Thank you, man, but so you know, weight lifting, I am so winning you on that.” He boasted.

“Oh, someone getting so full of himself, let’s double the weight and watch me winning.” I took the bet.

After few minutes, we started talking about our lovers when I said,” I feel mother must have told Lisa something which made her strange but is all good except what I noticed these days.” I drank from my bottled water.

“What did you notice?” He asked.

“She eats very well and always sleeping; yes, I know she loves her sleep a lot but not compared to the way she sleeps this period; she can be of a whole day and still refusing to visit the hospital with me.”

“Are you serious?” I nodded at his response.

“World Theo is going to be a father soon; I will be his godfather and gossip you to your unborn child.” He teased.

“You are joking. Are you a doctor to know that?”

“I think she is pregnant, believe it or not. Theo, I think I am losing my trust in Bella. you know how jealous I can be?” He said, looking so sad.

“Kyle, it’s your day; you supposed to be happy; okay, tell me what happened?”

“I got a call from a strange guy that he saw my number on Bella’s phone, she took more alcohol and passed out, I rushed to meet him only to see her sleeping peacefully on his bed, I feel she is lying and I am trying to believe her.” He took in more water.

“Then believe her and nothing else; it’s normal to think negatively at times, okay.”

“Okay, man.”

At the office, I ended the call I made to a fashion home to get me a beautiful dress for Lisa; she will look stunning at Kyle’s party tonight.

“Hey, Lisa.”

“Hi Theo, how is working going?” She asked.

“Fine, what’s happening to you? Your voice is not lively?” I suspected something was wrong.

“I am fine, okay.”

“Well, someone will bring a dress to you soon, wear it tonight, and I pick you up from home by 6 pm, okay?”

“Okay, dear.”

I sigh after ending the call, “I hope she is excellent.”

I envy grandma a lot, though she is old yet she acts so young and strong, always at her regular hang out with her friends, playing the Scrabble game; I love these older adults, I hope the friendship between Bella and I stay till forever, we grow old together and be like grandma and her friends.

I hate the fact I sleep a lot; a thought came across my mind, “Oh shit, I haven’t seen my period last month, and now, oh no, this can’t be, I need to carry out a home test right about now, I don’t have an infection.

“Oh Lisa, dumbhead Lisa, infection can’t delay period of last month and this month.”

I washed my face and rushed to get a pregnancy strip, I did the necessary, but I was nervous waiting for the result.

I walked to and fro, talking to myself, “I should have had protective sex; now I might be in serious problem.

Checking the minutes, it’s time to see the result myself; I entered the bathroom and staggered, seeing a double red line meaning positive.

“No way, this can’t be true; I am going to carry out a blood test and confirm it’s not true.

At the clinic, a nurse took a sample of my blood into the lab and asked me to wait for the results.

I could feel my legs shaking, and I might explode soon.

A few minutes later, the doctor gave me my results sealed in a brown envelope and left to attend to others; I opened it and behold positive, I am three weeks gone, tears flowed from my eyes.

I walked slowly home thinking so deep when Theo called me, he was able to detect I was sad, but I can’t tell him, I rather keep this from him, because his mother doesn’t want me and he has someone he will marry and not me.

I smiled over the phone when he told me he got me a dress for Kyle party.

Lots of expected dignitaries started coming in to celebrate with Kyle.

You can barely behold someone poor amongst the ones present.

Bella texted Kyle to meet her at a spot in the house; he hugged her and started kissing her,” Someone might see us. ” she stopped the kiss.

“I got you something as a gift, but I am sorry if it’s not expensive; I know the majority of people gift here tonight are more expensive than mine.” She gave a cheap hand chain.

“I will value this with my heart, thanks so much, try to enjoy the party with me, okay?” He said before leaving and heading to the garden where the party was taking place.

Bella had to resume her duties to serve wine with other maids, which made her so unhappy but jealous seeing Clara all around Kyle at the party.

“Wow, Mr Wilson son is so handsome, and I must confess, Clara is lucky to have him; I wish they can fight so my daughter can take over space.” One of the persons said to her friend.

“I wish the same thing, friend.” They took from their wine.

Lisa already dressed and looking nervous but got a call from Theo that he won’t be able to drive her to the party, but one of his drivers will.

She got disappointed but has no choice but to go, so she avoids Bella issues.

Arriving at the party, she took a seat in the garden and appreciated the designer for making a wow of the garden in Wilson’s home.

“Hey, girlfriend!” Bella said.

“You are serving as a maid on your man’s birthday, and I got overdressed?” She wasn’t happy.

“Oh Lisa, enjoy the party got to go, looks your love is coming here.” Bella smiled before leaving, and Theo presence was revealed, looking so handsome as always but hotter tonight.

“You look beautiful tonight.” He complimented her outfit, and she thanked him.

“I am so sorry for not picking you up; my mom wanted me to come here and others.”

A few minutes later, with her, he got a text from his mom looking for him; he had to excuse himself again and promised her he would be back.

Theo’s attitude made her believe she can never tell him about it, and they should break up after the party to face her doom.

Lisa saw Theo mom with a handsome young man she assumes to be his father, Jordan was there, and it was like a reunion; she could not take it anymore. She made use of the bathroom.

When she finished using the bathroom, she saw Jordan in there, “Hello Lisa, I wondered why you are here.” She gave an evil smirk.

“Oh, I just, I will take my leave now.” She stammered, not knowing what to say to her.

“I thought his mother made it clear to you, stay away from Theo, leave my T for me, Timothy, or Theo will never love you.”

Tears almost fell from her eyes, but she stood her ground, saying, “His Theo and not Timothy okay, you don’t decide for him.”

“You know what, Lisa, you are selfish or he didn’t tell you, his father is rigorous, he stays with you he gets disowned and losses everything all thanks to you, but if you choose to save him, let him go and prove your love this way.” Jordan left her, and she let out her tears.

Mr Wilson and his wife thanked everyone who came with a speech, and it was time for everyone to toast to long life.

“Before we make a toast, I want to present to you Clara, my son wife to be, and it happens that tonight is not just my son birthday but an engagement party; let’s toast to that.” Everyone celebrated and presented gift, Kyle looking so dumb, not knowing what to do; Bella almost had a heart attack hearing this.

Kyle has to engage Clara tonight; he was about to take a step when he saw a guy harassing Bella.

“Hey, let me go, I don’t know you before and I didn’t promise you sex; I was not drunk, I took water, and I didn’t know how I slept off; maybe you have mistaken me for someone else.” Bella struggled with him.

“No, Bella, any lady I save pays me with sex, you are going with me to have sex; I don’t mind forcing you.” He hits her ass; Kyle’s eyes turned red as he went to her aid even when his mother called him back; the crowd was surprised to see the new reactions of the Billionaire sons; he knocks him out.

While on the other hand, Theo tried stopping Lisa from leaving.

“Theo, let me go, please; we can never be together; you are better off with her; I saw everything. You hug her while I am here.” She cried.

“No, Lisa, you got it all wrong; I decided to..” She slapped him.

“I don’t care, you know; let me go for good; move on with her.” He tried stopping her when she passed out.

“Lisa! Lisa! Wake up, please don’t do this to me.” He carried her in bridal style and gave Kyle a sign of solving their problems; he rushed her to the hospital.

It was all over the news that the Billionaire sons have failed their standards; some came up with different headlines.
