Getting to the house, I walked straight into the bathroom to take my bath.

I placed my hands on the cold wall and sighed.

MAGNOLIA POV

It’s a working day again, I arrived late at the place of work, I got to his office and greeted him.

There are eye bags under his eyes and his hair looks kinda rough.

I walked up to him and pick his comb, Maynard held my hand and I sighed.

” Why are you holding my hands, Your hair is rough and there are bags under your eyes, I need to comb your hair and get you some drugs, Seems like you’re lacking sleep “I protests and he nodded.

I combed his hair gently and arranged them the way it should be.

” I’m going to get you some drugs “I mumbled and he pulled me back.

” Is there any need for doing that?, And do you have any money with you? “He asked and I nodded.

” There’s need for doing that, You don’t look so well to me, Or will you take the day off? “I asked gently and he nodded.

” Let’s go to your penthouse then, I will prepare some soup before leaving “I mumbled and pick his bag before leaving with him.

I held him by his waist and he wrapped his hand around my shoulders while we pass through the private elevator.

” We are leaving for house, He’s not really fine “I told Mr. Mateo and look at Maynard before opening the door for us.

We got to the room and I opened the blinds.

I made him lay on the bed and took off my jackets.

” I told Mr. Mateo to get the drugs already, I will go prepare some soup for you “I said softly and used to duvet to cover him.

After finding my way to the kitchen, I met Mrs. Cora there and greeted her.

” You saw us when we arrived right? “I asked and she nodded

” There’s nothing like lovely moment, He’s sick so I have to take care of him “I stuttered feeling so embarrassed and she nodded.

” I want to make some soup “I mumbled and she led me to where the ingredients are.

I started making the soup and after thirty minutes, I’m done with it.

Mr. Cora tasted it and her eyes widened.

” It’s not good enough?, I can make another one “I said quickly and she shook her head.

” It’s delicious, Trust me, And I’m sure he will enjoy it ”

” Oh, Thanks for that “I whispered before leaving the kitchen with a big tray, I met Mr. Mateo on the way and he gave me the drugs.

I carried it carefully to his room and he was sleeping.

I touched his forehead and it’s now hotter.

I tapped him softly and he opened his eyes.

” Should we go to the hospital?, You’re scaring me “I said fearfully and he closed his eyes again.

Tears stung in my eyes already, I opened his shirt and tried to fan him.

” You’re making things worse, Magnolia ”

” Then tell me what to do so I can make you feel better ”
