BIT 107
Rebecca quickly got up and walked toward the maid’s room, leaving Harvey standing in place with a shocked expression. She was just about to take out her phone when Nancy suddenly entered with a sullen face.
“What’s that smell?” Rebecca asked with her chat gadget as she caught a whiff of something foul coming from Nancy. She glanced at Nancy’s clothes and was surprised to see brown stains on them.
“No, I didn’t poop my pants, okay? It’s that crazy old woman’s doing!” Nancy grumbled irritably.
Rebecca frowned, giving Nancy a look that said, “What crazy old woman?” which made Nancy quickly realize her mistake. She covered her mouth with both hands.
“Forget whatever I just told you!” Nancy snapped in a panic. She rushed into the bathroom, muttering incoherently.
Rebecca frowned, imagining Harvey’s mother deliberately soiling Nancy’s clothes when she tried to approach her. She shuddered in horror, realizing they must be treating her very poorly-these people were truly wicked!
As she checked her phone, she suddenly received a message from Max.
‘Becky, you need to act normal as usual, don’t leave early or they’ll get suspicious. We’re going to free Harvey’s mother soon.
Rebecca swallowed nervously, her heart pounding with excitement.
“Marianne, take this to Alicia’s room,” Margareth suddenly appeared at the entrance, holding out an expensive khaki suit.
Rebecca gulped. After her sudden confession earlier, she wasn’t ready to run into Harvey, but she still took the khaki suit and stood up to head toward Alicia and Harvey’s room.
With heavy steps, she climbed the stairs to their room and knocked softly.
“Who is it?!” Alicia shouted. Rebecca wanted to answer but immediately remembered that she was pretending to be mute, so she kept her mouth shut.
“WHO IS IT?” Alicia shouted even louder. Rebecca was typing on her chat gadget when the door suddenly opened, and Alicia appeared with an annoyed look.
“Are you deaf?!”
“She’s mute, could you stop being so rude to the maids?” Harvey interjected from inside the room, making Rebecca’s heart race even faster.
Alicia huffed in annoyance. She glared at Rebecca, then s**d the khaki suit from her hands. “I spilled my nail polish in the bathroom, clean it up until the stain is gone!” she ordered harshly

Rebecca nodded. Nervously, she entered the room and crossed paths with Harvey, who was sitting calmly as if he knew what he had to do.
Harvey looked at her deeply but said nothing. The last thing they wanted was to jeopardize the mission they were going to carry out that day.
Rebecca quickly cleaned Alicia’s bathroom, removing the blue nail polish stains sc**ed all over the floor. Fifteen minutes later, as she was about to leave the bathroom, she heard Harvey talking on the phone.
“Let them in, Victoria! They’re from the office; I have to hold an impromptu meeting here because you won’t let me leave!”
Rebecca frowned but quickly realized that the “people from the office” Harvey mentioned were probably Max’s men. After taking a deep breath, she walked out of the bathroom, and once again, her eyes met Harvey’s. She could see him giving a subtle nod in her direction, as if confirming her thoughts.
“What happened?” Alicia asked, already dressed in her khaki suit. “Nothing,” Harvey replied flatly. “I’m going to Manhattan; I have something to take care of,” Alicia said as she slipped one of her diamond rings onto her finger.
“Whatever, I have work to do,” Harvey responded, then walked out, following Rebecca, who had already left the room.
“Wait for me! Let’s go down together!” Alicia called out, clinging playfully to Harvey’s arm.
“Get off me! I’m not in a good mood, so don’t start, okay?” Harvey snapped irritably. In front of them, Rebecca swallowed nervously, stepping aside to let them pass. As they walked by, Harvey ignored her, and Rebecca understood why.
“Hi, thank you for coming!” Harvey greeted about eight men in sharp suits who had just entered through the front door. Rebecca glanced at all of them and saw Max among them. She felt both relieved and fearful, unable to imagine what might happen.
“Let’s have a meeting in the library,” Harvey said with a stiff smile.
Victoria glared at him. “I’m afraid you can’t use the library, Harvey,” she interjected with a tense smile.
Harvey frowned.
“I don’t see any other comfortable place; you can join us if you want,” he said, shrugging, Victoria glared at him sharply. “You probably think I’d refuse, right? But unfortunately for you, I gladly accept the invitation. Let’s start the meeting, shall we?” she said in a forced cheerful tone.
Rebecca bowed slightly, slipping past them while keeping an eye on Alicia, who seemed indifferent to everything happening around her. She watched as Alicia leisurely walked toward the front of the mansion and waved at her driver, who was already waiting.Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Victoria is in there, but where’s Mia?” Rebecca muttered to herself as she continued walking away, but suddenly-
“You!” It was Harvey’s voice.
Rebecca turned and found Harvey staring at her. She pointed to herself with her right hand, making sure Harvey was calling her.
Harvey nodded.
“Please prepare drinks and snacks for us and call Mia. Doesn’t she need to attend the meeting so she can be relied upon when she becomes CEO someday? I don’t want this company to go bankrupt and cause trouble for all its employees,” he said, looking tiredly at Victoria.
Victoria scoffed but couldn’t hide her smile. “I’ll call her,” she said, waving her hand to signal Rebecca to go.
As Rebecca walked toward the maid’s room, she felt her phone vibrate. She quickly opened it and found a message from Max.
选
“Tell Nancy and Margareth that Victoria wants them to bring the drinks and snacks to the library, and you, stay in the maid’s room until it’s safe.”
Rebecca followed all of Max’s instructions and sat in the maid’s room anxiously. About fifteen minutes after Nancy and Margareth went to the library, she suddenly saw Max, Harvey, and four other men running out of the main building from a distance.
She quickly ran out of the maid’s room to meet them. “Are we going to do it now?” she asked, tense
Suddenly Harvey took her hand and hugged her tightly, “I owed you my life, Becky.”
