Bleeding Love

Chapter 37 Should You Try

Chapter 37 Should You Try

Gently caressing her belly, Aleena looked at the scene out of the window in trance.

It was incredible that the child had grown up safely in her belly.

During this period of time, everything happened like a dream. She felt unreal, but wanted to stay in this

dream and did not want to wake up.

After Spencer knew the truth, he had changed his attitude towards her greatly and had insisted on.

He accompanied her from morning till night, gentle and comprehensive.

She had been thinking of not forgiving him, but with the passage of time, his tenderness broke her

defense bit by bit.

As he had said, she was afraid.

Even if her heart was hard as iron, he was he man she had loved for many years.

She felt she was not determined. It was he indiscriminately wronged her for so many years, and had

been insulting her, bullying her in various means, but after his repentance since he learned the truth,

she forgave her bit by bit.

She struggled every day.

A voice said to her, ‘Don't trust this man any more. Have you forgotten what he did to you before? He

kissed three of your children and got someone to almost gang-raped you, so why can't you treat

yourself better?’

But the other voice said, ‘Just follow your heart, you have ‘died’ once, what are you afraid of? What's

more, isn't he sincerely repentant? Love is love, why scruples so much?”

Aleena did not know what to choose. She could only observe him every day when she got along with

him, comparing those two voices with the real him.

So many days had passed, she knew more about him, but she still could not make up her mind,

wasting time.

Spencer did not force her. He did what he should be, silently guarding, silently paying efforts.

Now he realized how hard it was to feel.

The identity of the two people seemed to switch over, and it was easier to figure out the mind of each

other.

And two people imperceptibly got closer.

“You will catch a cold.” Spencer's low, soft voice rang out behind her, and then a sweater coat wrapped

around her.

She felt that now Spencer treated her like a child, for fear that she catch a cold and that she would

have sweat because of being hot. He knew more pregnancy knowledge than she did and took care of

her in a meticulous way.

She seemed to have pondered for long. Was it really time to answer him?

“Spencer.” Aleena turned round and said, “Why on earth do you treat me so well?”

Spencer was stunned and then said, “You ask me this question several times everyday.”

Aleena rubbed her nose awkwardly.

The nicer he was to her, the more insecure she seemed, afraid that one day he would suddenly change

and stomp her down again.

“I've tried very hard to dispel your fears.” Spencer said, “Maybe I still have a lot to do, but you have to

believe that I am sincere and really want to be with you.”

Aleena drooped her eyes, “I have been wondered if your man's love comes fast? Or am I overthinking?

If you don’t like me, I wish you wouldn't be so nice to me. I'm afraid that one day I'll fall into it.”

She did not want to conceal it, but intended to speak out her confusion.

Just say it out, untie all the knots in her heart. Even if she could not be with her, at least they could live

with each other as friends.

She smiled wryly at the very thought.

See, she already had the answer and just wanted to know what he thought.

She had only one life, but she wanted to make the most of it, especially after having already died once.

After she said that, Spencer bent his eyes in chagrin, and his heartbeat became irregular.

Perhaps he had hope?

So he seriously said, “I am serious, it is not that love comes fast. You have left traces in my heart since

a long time ago, and as time goes on, this feeling gets more and more expanded, but I have repressed

it and did not pay attention to it.”

“And now I finally know my heart, so I decided to be with you, to make up for my own mistakes, and for

you.”

Aleena pressed her lips.

“I am not asking you to give me an immediate answer, I know you had no security, so I will take it

slowly, time will tell.” Travis said, “You don't need to feel any burden.”

Aleena nodded his head, looked at her bulging abdomen, and said gently, “Do you want to try?”
