Chapter 47
Paxton’s face already signified facial tension of anger, his brows furrowed, jaw clenched and his fist already tightened. He felt like leaving a tooth breaking punch on her face but she was a lady and he decided not to act rootless for humanity’s sake.
And so he sprang up angrily, banged his hand on his desk which caused a her heart to skip a beat due to shock.
“Get your deranged ass up from my seat and pave your miserable way out of my office and company!” Paxton instructed immediately without even giving her a second to comprehend the shock she experienced from the table banging a while ago.
The shameless lady stood up feeling like a looser she was. She felt angry as well that she did not achieve what she came here to do.
Her cheeks red as a tomato and lips already thin as she smirked angrily and bit her lower lips she grabbed her red bag she complimented her red heels and turned around and began matching out of Paxton’s office.
She was already close to door when Paxton uttered still irritated by her attitude “Do not ever return here unless it is for business purposes else you would not like the result.”
With this she turned around to face Paxton with her eyeballs almost falling out of its sockets and gave him an eye shooting stare as he talked even when he was done stating the threatening message to her she still stood there staring furiously at him and then Paxton lost it.
He got angrier looking at her and then she shouted louder this time “Get out or else the security guards would…”
She then cut in “Fine Paxton! Fine. I see you are blind missing someone beautifully endowed like me…”
She still tired to defend her stupidity when Paxton sighed loudly and stretched his hand to reach for the black landline posited by his right in order to place a call on a nearby guard to come get the piece of shit that stood before him.
“You really are calling a guard on me Paxton. You would see the worst…” and then she did not complete her useless statement when a person knocked on the door.
“Please come in.” Paxton instructed with a wide devilish smirk plastered on his face.
“She is the one. Take her out and be careful do not let her bite you.”
“How dare you!” She shouted.
“Lady obey the boss and leave now or else!” The lumberjack able bodied guard commanded with all manner of strictness and toughness noticeable in his voice.
With this, she rolled her eyes and Paxton hoped it would fall out of its socket and then she dashed out of his office.
On her way out of the company, She saw with Sydney again who earlier gave her a death stare as shouted like a mental disabled person asking her what she was staring out.
Sydney chuckled a little and before she could give a befitting response the guard pulled the lady by her arm and warned her not to cause a sin or else he would have to embarrass her just like the boss instructed.
Soon, she was out of sight and Sydney still stood chucking as she saw her leave the company with the guard pulling her too. She then realized that Paxton must have put her in her place where she belonged.
She felt happy and overjoyed because when she saw the way she already flitered with Paxton earlier she knew she was no good.
But they was something else about it she felt but could not comprehend. She felt uneasy seeing Paxton with another woman who was not her.
She questioned herself what it was she felt and as usual she could not answer the question she asked herself.

“What a stressful day. Finally I get to go home.” Sydney uttered to herself letting out a deep sigh of relief as she sat in her car ready to drive home.
She soon noticed a buzzing sound coming from her phone. It could only mean two things which were, a message came in or someone called.
She guessed it was a message because she could not remember herself leaving her phone on silent and so she just decided to reach for it and yes she guessed right. It was a message from Jaxton.
“Hey princess. Hope you are good? can I come get you at your apartment by 7:30pm today?”
“Yes I am babe. How about you?” Sydney replied.
She stood staring at the three bubbling signs which meant Jaxton was typing.
“I am good since you are. Now to my question…”
“Right, you can. But where?” Sydney questioned.
“For a classic restaurant date. I refuse to disclose the address, it’s a surprise.” He replied alongside a cute emoji which caused Sydney to blush.
Still, she felt guilty and confused about the whole thing that was going on between her and Paxton.
She felt as if she only played with Jaxton’s heart like a toy but she definitely acknowledged he was nice but still not a reason for all she did.
She was still agreeing to spend time with him when she already promised his twin brother, Paxton, that she was going to break up.NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.

Clothed in a black flowered patterned dress and a white heel was Sydney as she waited for Jaxton who was to come pick her up for her date.
Soon, she heard a knock on her door and realized he came already. She hurriedly gets all her belongings and heads to the door.
She smelt heavenly as she had the perfect taste in body fragrances and perfumes was the first thing Jaxton noticed as she opened the door.
“Mhmm you smell and look gorgeous.” Jaxton complemented as she then stretched his right arm forward for her to take it.
She chuckled a bit and took his arm. Eventually before she left for the date, she made sure her door was locked properly.
