Natalie went silent and only nodded after a while. “You're right. Sure. We'll go there after my competition.”

“Children have always been perceptive of what's happening around them.” Shane walked up to Natalie and the kids to hug them.

“I know, but Stanley's relationship with the kids isn't that simple.” Natalie sighed.

In response, Shane snorted and uttered, “I only let the kids see him because you told me he was their godfather and saved your lives.”
