CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery

Chapter 1114

"I think the same," Nina agreed. "I'll let the company know right away."

Just as she pulled out her phone, Nash stopped her. She looked at him, puzzled.

Nash sat on the edge of the desk, thinking for a moment before saying, "Here's what you should do. Text Miss Flores and arrange a meeting for tomorrow at noon. Let's see how she handles it."

Confused but trusting him, Nina sent the message to Miss Flores.

They met at a coffee shop, where Miss Flores had already arrived, accompanied by Rosie, the assistant to the agency's boss.

As soon as she saw Nina, Miss Flores stood up and greeted her, "Nina, you're here."

"Take a seat. Have you ordered coffee yet?" Nina asked as she called over a waiter and ordered a mocha. "About yesterday, I thought about it all night, and I'm still shaken up. I've decided to pause working with your agency for now." Both Miss Flores and Rosie looked panicked. Miss Flores quickly pulled out a gift she had prepared in advance.

"Nina, these are the latest DS earrings. Please accept them. I'm truly sorry for what happened yesterday. It was a lapse in judgment on my part, but I had no intention of harming Orion. You have to believe me."

Nina didn't take the gift and simply nodded for Miss Flores to put it away. The tension between the two was palpable.

Rosie had already texted their boss about Nina's decision and was waiting for a response.

When Rosie remained silent, Miss Flores awkwardly smiled and tried again, "Nina, our agency is very professional. You can't judge us by my mistake alone. That wouldn't be fair to the rest of the team."

"You're mistaken," Nina replied calmly. "I never said I was switching agencies. Lulu is still abroad, but once she's back, she'll continue to manage Orion."

This was Nash's idea as well. Since

wait for Lulu's return. Besides, the variety show only allowed one person to accompany Orion on set, so this decision wouldn't impact his work.

Miss Flores bit her lip, clearly unhappy, but when she opened her mouth to protest, Rosie gently stopped her.

Rosie had already received

instructions and she lifted her coffee cup with a polite smile, "Nina, the company understands your

concerns and will respect your net

decision. We hope you'll continue to communicate with Lulu once she's back."

"Thank you," Nina responded with a polite clink of their cups. "I need to get back and pick up Orion before heading to the countryside for filming, so I won't take up more of your time." Rosie nodded, courteously escorting Nina out. After she left, Rosie's expression hardened as she sat back down.

"What did the boss say?" Miss Flores asked nervously.

"I told you, the company doesn't

want to lose Orion. The boss sees

him as a valuable asset. And didn't

you

notice?" Rosie lowered her voice, eNina doesn't seem like just any ordinary housewife. I suspect she's someone with significant wealth."

Miss Flores scoffed, "If she's so rich, why would she have her son work in entertainment? I think all that luxury is just for show."

"Regardless, the boss was clear. You're not to involve Orion in any of your plans anymore. And stop trying to find a playmate for your son. If it happens again, I won't turn a blind eye." Rosie grabbed her bag and left, leaving Miss Flores alone on the couch.

After a long silence, Miss Flores smirked to herself, her eyes clouded with resentment as she muttered, "If no one's going to help me, then I'll just have to take matters into my own hands." That afternoon, a heavy rainstorm hit, disrupting the filming schedule. The outdoor activities were postponed, forcing the crew to move indoors.

With not enough footage from the day's shoot the director quickly adjusted the script and planned a new segment which was a game of Pictionary.
