Chapter 1188
Yvonne quickly shook her head in refusal. Today was her wedding day, and as long as she made it through this day, she could finally accept all of Nigel's love without any hesitation. She didn't want anything to cause a delay.
Their ride had arrived. Nash came over to inform them.
As the makeup artist finished the final touches, Nina and Orion accompanied Yvonne downstairs.
The wedding venue was lively, filled with many distinguished guests. It was clear that even though the Gibson family might not have been thrilled about Yvonne, they had spared no expense for the occasion.
Nina helped her out of the car, whispering, "Remember, the Gibson family is showing you a lot of respect today. You should keep this in mind. If there are ever any issues with your in-laws, just think about today's wedding and how much effort they've put in." Yvonne wasn't naïve. She nodded and reassured Nina she would do her best to get along with them.
"Yvonne," Nigel said, staring at her in awe.
Nina teased him, "You'd better take good care of such a beautiful wife, or I might have to introduce her to someone else!"
Nigel quickly promised he would cherish Yvonne forever.
The officiant then began his speech, officially announcing the start of the wedding.
Nigel offered his arm to Yvonne, and together, they walked down the red carpet toward their future.
Orion trailed behind, carefully holding Yvonne's dress, his serious expression drawing praise from the guests.
Nina, hearing the compliments, smiled proudly. "Nash, you should be thanking me for giving you such a handsome son."
Nash grinned and, taking advantage of the moment, kissed her. "Noted, love. I'll be sure to give you a special reward when the time comes." His eyes twinkled with a mischievous glint.
Nina, knowing exactly what he meant, rolled her eyes. "I don't want your 'rewards.' I want something real."
Nash chuckled quietly, "Oh, it's real enough. You know I don't do anything half-hearted. How else do you think we ended up with two kids?"This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
Realizing she couldn't win this one, Nina diverted her gaze, choosing not to engage him further.
As Yvonne passed by Joe and Winona, she noticed Winona's gaze, filled with malice, as if she was plotting something. A sudden wave of unease washed over Yvonne.
"Ladies and gentlemen, today we are
here to celebrate the wedding of Mr.
Nigel Gibson and Miss Yvonne
Turner. Let's give them the warmest applause to show our heartfelt congratulations."

The officiant had a way of stirring the crowd, and the venue erupted in applause, the energy of the event reaching its peak.
"Wait," a voice interrupted. Winona stood up, cutting off the officiant.
Everyone turned to look at her, whispering as they realized who she was. As Yvonne's sister-in-law, it
seemed highly inappropriate for her to disrupt the wedding like this.

Joe tugged at her sleeve, whispering, "Whatever it is, can't it wait until after the wedding? You might not care about your reputation, but I still do."
Winona shot him a cold smile. "Oh? You care about your reputation? Funny, I thought you didn't, considering what you've done."
"What are you even talking about? If you want to cause trouble, do it somewhere else. This is Yvonne's wedding, for God's sake."
Joe was upset about Yvonne marrying Nigel, but it was already done. However, that didn't mean he couldn't vent his frustrations on Winona.
Winona's smile faded as she turned
toward the Gibson family. "Mr. Gibson SK Thope you don't mind me interrupting for a moment. There's something I need to address before this wedding can continue. If don't speak up now, it'll weigh heavily on my conscience."
