Chapter 677
"No! You're talking nonsense!" Theodore said with every ounce of strength he had left. "She wouldn't let me get injured, she wouldn't!" "Really? I'll let you see it for yourself!"
An image was projected on the wall.
"I choose Theodore Spencer!"
Rosalie could be seen clearly in the projection.
The abductor's voice could be heard in the video, saying, "So, you chose Theodore. Does that mean you want Sebastian to be injured?"
The man's finger shifted to the button on the right as he spoke.
"No, no," Rosalie said in a trembling voice. "I meant that I choose for Theodore...to be injured."
The video ended abruptly and the projection stopped, leaving them staring at a mottled and peeling wall.
Theodore slumped to the ground, staring straight ahead at nothing in particular, as if all his energy had been sucked out of him. He looked as if his soul had been yanked out of his body, and didn't even have the strength to struggle.Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.
'No...' he thought despondently. 'How could Rose treat me like this? It must be fake. Rose wouldn't do that to me.'
"Hahaha..." Sebastian burst out laughing. He approached Theodore, and said mockingly, "To think that this would happen to you, Theodore Spencer!" Theodore held the bleeding wound on his chest.
He pulled out his phone from his pocket and was about to make a call, when Sebastian kicked it away and stomped his hand mercilessly. “Sebastian Carter, do you know what you're doing right now?" Theodore said angrily.
"Of course I do," Sebastian said as he crouched down and sneered. "Theodore Spencer, I've had it with you. Just die here today, and no one will ever fight with me over Rose. She's my woman."
"Kill me, and Rose will hate you forever!" Theodore snarled.

Theodore was all out of strength as he lay on the floor, unable to catch his breath. He wasn't scared of death, but he didn't want to die. under such circumstances. He didn't want to die in the hands of this despicable bastard.
"Hahaha...!" Sebastian laughed. "Theodore Spencer, do you still not understand? She wants you dead. Why else would she choose me? To Rose, I'm more important than you are. She hates you, but you keep pestering and hounding her. She's finally going to be free now. Don't worry, I'll take good care of her.
She's my beloved woman, after all. I
won't be like you-I won't get
involved with other women and
break her heart."
The rage and hatred in Sebastian's eyes gave Theodore a sudden realization. "You've regained your memories, haven't you?"
Sebastian stood up slowly. Instead of answering Theodore's question, he picked up Theodore's phone.
"Theodore Spencer, even if you end up in hell, don't forget that Rose picked me and gave up on you. Hahaha...!"
Sebastian left, filled with excitement. Theodore could still hear his smug laughter even as he disappeared in the distance.
Theodore stared blankly in the distance as hot, burning tears streaked his face.
This was probably the last time he would be crying in his entire life-for the sake of a woman who didn't love him, who gave up on his life.
'Rose, even if you don't love me, you
can't do that to me...' he thought miserably. I'm willing to die for you, I really am. But why is Sebastian more important to you than me?'
Theodore refused to concede defeat. Hopelessness filled his heart, which grew colder and colder by the minute.
At that point, his love for Rosalie seemed to be completely frozen.
Was he still able to love her?
Footsteps sounded next to him, and he saw a figure standing before him. It was a man wearing a black mask.
The man crouched, and pinched Theodore's chin. "Tsk, tsk. How pitiful. To think the great CEO of SK Enterprise would end up like this one day, so... weak."
Theodore lost too much blood, and didn't even have the energy to speak. Looking up required much energy from him; he opened his mouth to try to speak, but ended up saying nothing.
"Don't worry, I won't let you die. The game isn't over yet, and you're a main character. It wouldn't be fun if you died."
The man pulled out a syringe filled with liquid, and pierced it right into Theodore's chest.
