Chapter 679
"Where did you come from?" Rosalie asked. "I know you came with Theo. Where is he now?"
Sebastian's brows furrowed as irritation built up inside him. He wasn't irritated with Rosalie, but with her overwhelming concern for Theodore's life and death. It made him very uncomfortable.
"Rose, it's not safe here. Let me take you home first, alright? We'll talk once we get home. Come on."
He grabbed her wrist.
"I'm not going!" Rosalie shook his hand off. "If I don't see Theo today, I won't go anywhere. If you're not telling me, I'll go find him myself!"
"What are you going to find him for?" Sebastian finally yelled, unable to hold himself in any longer. "I'm your husband. I came here risking my life to save you, but all you're concerned with is Theodore Spencer! You know how dangerous this place is and that we might find ourselves in trouble anytime, but all you care about is him! Aren't you worried that something might happen to me, too?"
"I've already chosen you, what else do you want?" Rosalie yelled in rage. "Sebastian Carter, I had to choose one of you two, and I chose you. Are you not even allowing me to show concern for Theo? How cruel of you! If you're worried about danger lurking in here, leave by yourself. I'll look for Theo myself!"
Rosalie couldn't help but feel disappointed by Sebastian; she made a move to leave, her heart broken.
Sebastian hugged her from behind. "What are you doing? Let me go!"
Rosalie struggled against his hold, but Sebastian begged in her ear, "I'm sorry. I was wrong, I was wrong!"
Sebastian shut his eyes, and felt tremors racking his body. "I was wrong. I shouldn't have said what I said. I was just too worried about your safety. I wanted you back home as fast as possible, that's all."
Rosalie shut her eyes in misery, and took a deep breath.
She then slowly opened her eyes, and said, "I must go find him. If I don't see him, I won't go back. I don't believe he's back safe and sound don't believe that! Seb, even if you hide the truth from me now, I' eventually find out what happened techim. When that happens, I won't forgive you, because you lied to me."
Sebastian gritted his teeth as anger boiled in his heart. He took a deep breath, and suppressed the rage inside him. "Rose, it's my fault," he said slowly.

Sebastian's words made Rosalie's heart race. She grabbed his collar, and asked, "Where is he? How is he?"
The concern on Rosalie's face told Sebastian that she wouldn't let up until she saw Theodore.
'Might as well, Sebastian thought. Theodore was probably already dead. Rosalie would be heartbroken when she's saw him, but if he lied to her that Theodore had gone back, she would eventually find out the truth and blame him for lying to her.
He would rather just tell her the truth right now and take her to see Theodore's corpse. That would be all that was left of him, anyway. Theodore was killed by the abductor, who shot him in the chest with an arrow. It was none of his business.
"I'll take you to him."
Sebastian grabbed Rosalie's wrist, and left. He then drove Rosalie to the place where Theodore got injured.
Rosalie cried throughout the entire journey. She immediately rushed toward the dilapidated building the moment the car ground to a halt.
