Chapter 703
"So that's how it is. You're back so soon. I thought you'd be gone for a long time."This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
Theodore replied, "I was originally supposed to be away for a while, but since there were issues back home, I finished up early and came back."
"Theo, you're running around so much. It must be tiring. You should take some time to rest. You don't need to push yourself so hard." "It's alright, Grandma. I'm fine."
"Listening to your voice, you sound really exhausted. Theo, even though I'm strict with you, it was only because I wanted you to succeed. Now that you've truly become successful. I'm content. Don't be too hard on yourself. Rest when you need to." Theodore gently rubbed his nose, his eyes slightly red. "I got it, Grandma. I'll make sure to rest."
"By the way." Rebecca seemed to remember something. "Rose called me earlier. She asked where you went. Didn't you meet her before? Why didn't you tell her where you were going? Did you two argue again?"
Rebecca was still worried about their relationship. Even though she didn't want to interfere, she couldn't help but ask what had happened.
Theodore fell into silence, not speaking for a long time.
Rebecca, not hearing his response, became increasingly concerned. "What's wrong? Did you really argue?"
"No, we didn't."
"Really? Then why didn't she know about your business trip abroad? She seemed very upset when she called me. Did you mistreat her again?"
"I didn't mistreat her." When he heard the word "mistreat," he felt a sudden pang of pain in his heart.
No matter what happened, they always thought he was mistreating Rosalie. He had hurt her before, causing her sorrow and pain, and he admitted he was a fool.
But why was it always that when something went wrong, the first reaction was to blame him?

Rebecca said a lot over the phone. Theodore's head was buzzing from her words. Some of them sank in, while others seemed to be blocked by him and fell to the ground in pieces. The fragments werea glaring red.
Finally, Rebecca finished speaking.
"Theo, did you hear that? Don't let it happen again. No matter what happens, just apologize to Rosatie. She's soft-hearted and won't hold a grudge against you. Call her and apologize quickly."
Theodore was silent for a few seconds before responding, "Grandma, maybe there's one time when she should apologize to me."
"What could she possibly need to apologize for? Clearly, it was your fault first."

Theodore lowered his head. He supported his head, almost falling off the bed. Finally, he took a deep breath, adjusted his emotions, and controlled his pain.
He said calmly, "I understand. I'll apologize to her."
He was the one who made a mistake first, so he deserved it.
"That's right. Apologize to her as soon as possible! You're family. Even if you're divorced, you still need to protect her and not let anyone bully her." Rebecca's tone was full of concern for Rosalie.
