Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 895

The woman he loved was so cruel to him, while the woman he didn't love was willing to give him her whole heart.

Reality always didn't match up to expectations.

People always get what they don't want and never what they really want.

Perhaps it's true what they always say the grass is always greener on the other side. It is greener precisely because it's not on your side.

Many are never content with what they have.

Theodore got up on his feet with Aurora in his arms, and slowly walked up the stairs.

When he entered a bedroom, he threw Aurora on the bed and removed his shirt. He lay on top of her and pressed her arms down the sides of her head.

"Aurora Payne, I want you."

Men couldn't help but take pity on weak and vulnerable women. Aurora was so weak, lowly, and humble in her love.

Theodore's heart wasn't made of steel. Facing such a woman, he couldn't deny he was moved. He couldn't remain hard-hearted against her, especially when his beloved woman had been so cruel to him.

The willing sacrifice of another woman filled and mended the hole in his heart.

If he allowed the pain to fester in him, he was bound to die.

He had to find a way to soothe his pain.

To him, Aurora's body was the best remedy-especially with her face resembling Rosalie's.

He could selfishly take Aurora as Rosalie.

Aurora was very nervous, but her heart was filled with expectations. She nodded firmly and shut her eyes.

The next second, Theodore's lips landed on her neck. After that, everything happened quickly.

The calm of the night was bound to be disturbed.

Rosalie returned to her place, looking lost and feeling empty. Sebastian followed her into her room with the baby.

Rosalie sat on the bed unmoving, and only snapped back to reality after a long while.

"Seb, pass me the baby. I'll bring him to the baby room."

Her voice was hoarse, and she could feel herself on the brink of emotional collapse. She didn't want that to happen in front of the baby. "Let me do it."

With that, Sebastian carried the baby out of her room.

Rosalie collapsed on the bed and stared blankly at the ceiling.

After Sebastian placed the baby in the bass, he returned to Rosalie's room and saw her lying on the bed, unmoving. He dashed toward her, frightened out of his wits.

"Rose, are you alright?"

Rosalie remained silent. Her eyes were open, but she said nothing in response. Tears fell uncontrollably from her eyes and wet the bed sheets. Sebastian was distraught. "Rose, I'm here. Cry all you want, I'll always be here."

His words broke Rosalie. She started sobbing hard.

Sebastian's heart broke. He quickly pulled Rosalie up from the bed and held her in his arms, gently patting her back.

"Cry, Rose Go ahead and cry. I'll

always be by your side. My arms will

always be a refuge for you. You'll

feel much better after crying at all out."

He didn't want Rosalie to keep her feelings to herself. That wouldn't be healthy at all.

What happened tonight was enough for Rosalie to see the kind of person Theodore truly was. She would no longer hold out any hope for him.

Rosalie sobbed loudly, grabbing Sebastian's collar and even thumping her clenched fists against his chest in a bid to vent her anger.

"Why? Why must it be like this? Why?!"

Sebastian shut his eyes in pain. He didn't say anything, and simply let her vent her anger.

His body was still injured from his

fight with Theodore. Although Rosalie's punches weren't heavy, it still hurt when they landed on his wounds. Yet, he tolerated it.
