Chapter 898
"I'm also doing this for the good of all three of you. You and Rose are already married. You two should lead your married life in peace. It's impossible between Theo and Rose. Even if they reconcile by force, they'll only be miserable. A love triangle will always spell doom for all three parties," Sydney explained.
"You want your son to give up on Rose completely so he won't be in pain anymore?" Sebastian asked.Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
"Yes, you can think of it that way," Sydney said. "What happens tomorrow will determine whether this love triangle can be over for good."
Sydney also told Sebastian what he should do the next day, and how to deal with Theodore.
Sebastian hung up, distraught.
He was initially doubtful until he saw Theodore in the flesh today, with a woman in tow.
The heavens were on his side. They had allowed him to know about it beforehand. He would deliberately let Theodore overhear him, making the latter assume the baby was his and Rosalie's.
With Theodore's hopes dashed, Theodore would surely say something hurtful. This would in turn kill Rosalie's hopes. She would never tell Theodore about the baby.
No doubt, Rosalie wouldn't want her baby to have such a father.
Everything went so smoothly. Theodore always lost to Sebastian, it was starting to get boring for him.
The only thing he wasn't pleased with was that Rosalie still had feelings for Theodore. Her tears were a testament to that.
If she no longer loved him, why would she cry so sorrowfully?
It was precisely because she still loved him that she reacted so emotionally to what happened. Sebastian didn't know when she would completely let go of Theodore.
Perhaps after this incident, she would be able to see through him.
Sebastian sighed; he lay down next to Rosalie and pulled her into his arms. Fearing he would wake her up, he gave her lips a gentle peck.
'Rose,' he whispered. 'I'm willing to do anything for you, bad or good.
'Forgive me. I really love you. I'll treat you a million times better than Theodore did. Even if I were to hurt everyone in this world, I'll never hurt you. 'Forget him, please. I'm begging you.'
Sebastian pleaded in his heart, shutting his eyes.
The next day, Aurora stirred awake and her eyes opened slowly. That was when she saw the man next to her on the bed.
She blinked, her eyelashes
tremblin
She mustered the
courage to stretch her arms around and wrap them around his waist, hugging him tightly.
Theodore leaned against the
headboard, his face expressionless and his eyes empty. He lifted a hand, and ran his fingers through Aurora's long hair.
"I'm sorry for disappointing you."
Aurora shook her head. "It's alright. I can wait for you. I'll wait for you till you're ready. Anytime is good for me."
Her shoulders and back were exposed, revealing the bite marks on her fair, dewy skin.
Last night, they almost slept together. They lay bare before each other, and Theodore had kissed her entire body.
However, he suddenly released her at the very last moment and told her, "Aurora, I'm sorry. I really can't treat you as her."
He kissed her hard and shut his eyes, pretending Aurora was Rosalie, but it didn't feel the same.
Aurora was devastated. She bit her lips, trying hard not to cry.
Theodore was already feeling terrible. She didn't want her emotions to make him feel worse.
She swallowed back her tears and approached him cautiously, finally cupping his face.
"It's alright. Even if you don't want to touch me that way, can you still hug me to sleep?"
Theodore fell silent before finally agreeing to it.
That was how Aurora slept in his
arms for an entire night. Their
bodies were pressed against each
other with nothing in between them.
This was the only thing he could give Aurora to thank her for her company and for being by his side when he was at his lowest.
He could finally understand Rosalie now when she had Sebastian by her side at her lowest point.
Aurora slept in his arms through the night. Although they didn't have sex, they held each other close.
