Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 904

Upon being interrupted, Rosalie looked at Aurora. Finally, her eyes landed on Aurora's belly.

Was Aurora really pregnant? If so, then what was the point of telling Theodore the truth now? Her own child would then become illegitimate. "Theodore, I have to ask you," Rosalie said solemnly. "Is Aurora really pregnant with your child? I'll only give you one chance. Tell me the truth." If it was a lie, she would tell him about Steve, but if it was true, then there was no need.

Theodore tightened his hold around Aurora's waist and said word by word, "She's pregnant with my child, and I'll marry her."

Rosalie was devastated. She slowly stepped back, laughing through her tears.

"You're really something, Theodore. Well done. I must have been blind!"

She didn't even want to imagine Theodore and Aurora sleeping together.

He always said one thing and did another. First there was Cynthia, and now there was Aurora.

It was fortunate she hadn't reconciled with Theodore. Even if she had, who could be sure that Theodore wouldn't be with another woman in the future?

Theodore treated every woman except her well.

If he truly loved her, how could he have divorced her? If he truly loved her, he should have told her, instead of divorcing her under the guise of "for her own good and to give her freedom."

He didn't even have the courage to admit that he loved her. How could such a man be worthy of her love?

If he didn't have the courage, then he should never muster it again. He should never tell her that he loved her.

However, after the divorce, when he saw her getting close to another man, he started to get jealous. He blamed her for everything-as if she had wronged him, as if he had endured so much for her.

And then suddenly, he told her that he loved her. In the end, it was all just about his possessiveness.

If it weren't for Sebastian, perhaps Theodore would never have told her he loved her.

So what if he knew about Steve? Steve would just become an illegitimate child.

Rosalie, crying bitterly, turned and left.

Theodore began to tremble as he watched her leave. A wave of intense pain surged through his chest, and suddenly, he chased after her.

"Don't." Aurora hugged him tightly from behind. "Don't go. Let her leave. Things have already come to this point."

Theodore forcefully pried Aurora's arms off him.

Just as he was about to open the door, Aurora fell to the ground.

Seeing that he was about to leave, Aurora quickly grabbed a stone nearby and slashed it across her arm. She then tossed the stone aside and let out a sharp scream.

Theodore turned around to see Aurora's arm bleeding.

"Aurora!" Theodore rushed over, picked her up from the ground, and held her bleeding arm. He said worriedly, "You're bleeding."

"Theodore, don't go, okay? I'm begging you. Even if you go now, it'll just end in an argument. I'm afraid you'll be heartbroken again. You both need to calm down."

Theodore turned his head to see Rosalie already driving away.

He felt a pang of regret. Why hadn't he asked her more about why she had come? He had been too caught up in their argument.

However, now that Aurora was in this state, he couldn't just leave her. He immediately carried her back inside.

Once in the living room, Theodore carefully treated Aurora's wound with the first aid kit.

"I'm sorry. I hurt you."

"It's okay," Aurora said, not mentioning that she had intentionally hurt herself. She wanted Theodore to think it was his fault, so he would feel guilty and stay.

"Aurora, why do you think she came to find me today?" he asked, not knowing who else to turn to. Aurora was the only person left by his side. "Maybe it's because of her husband," Aurora replied.

In fact, Aurora knew Rosalie hadn't moved on. Otherwise, she wouldn't have come.

However, she didn't dare say this, afraid that Theodore might go looking for Rosalie after hearing it. She couldn't allow that.

Theodore was her man. One day, she would have him entirely.

Aurora's possessiveness toward Theodore grew stronger.

Hearing Aurora's words, Theodore gave a bitter smile.RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

"Right, it must be because of that. She's here to stand up for her husband. She's always like this. Whenever something happens to Sebastian, it's always my fault."

Before, when Sebastian had nearly died, Rosalie had thought it was Theodore's doing. If not for his alibi, he would still be carrying that stain on his name.

Seeing that Theodore believed her words, Aurora breathed a small sigh of relief. She lifted her other hand and gently caressed his face.

"It's not your fault. You just loved

woman too much and got hurt. It's

by

okay. From now on, I'll love you. No matter what happens, I'll stand your side because I love you

Theodore looked up. "You love me, so no matter what happens, you'll always be by my side?"

"Yes." Aurora nodded firmly. "When

you love someone, you should support them without hesitation. You should protect them and trust them, Why would you protect and trust someone otherwise? Theodore, I love you, so I'll always believe in you."

Theodore thought of all the doubts Rosalie had about him. So, it was because Rosalie didn't love him anymore. That was why she protected Sebastian.

If you loved someone, you protected them and trusted them. So, she must love Sebastian.

Theodore suddenly laughed, which then turned into crying.

The difference between loving and not loving someone was so vast. Rosalie gave him hell, while Aurora gave him heaven.

Aurora immediately hugged him.

"Theodore, Hove you, so I'll always

stand by your side. You don't have to worry. From now on, I'll protect you. I swear d'll never take another man's side. Il always believe in you"

Suddenly, Theodore pressed Aurora down onto the couch, carefully placing her injured arm to the side. He lowered his head and kissed her lips.

Then, he picked her up in his arms and carried her to the bedroom.
