Chapter 96: Misunderstanding resolved!
Ten minutes later, two bouquets of flowers were delivered from the set.
One was a bouquet of red roses that Santino Yepes had bought at the florist’s shop downstairs in the Rouco Group, and the other was a bouquet of white dew roses from the delivery man.
“Miss Micaela, your flowers, please sign for them.”
Some people on the set began to raise their voices: “Two bouquets, big star! Who do you choose, the red roses or the white roses?
Santino Yepes awkwardly rubbed his nose and said with a smile, “Miss Micaela, our boss says he had a good time with you last night, so he sends you a bouquet of flowers to thank you.”
Estrella Berrocal, who operated the keyboard, froze her fingers.
Adán Rouco had actually spent the previous night with Micaela. Last night, Adán Rouco had really spent the night with Micaela, and it had been a good time.
Damn Adán Rouco, the womanizer.
He wants Olivia Montes, but now he wants Micaela, who does he want?
I don’t know if I’m more angry or sad, or if I feel sorry for falling in love with a man with double standards, but my chest is tight and I just want to get off the set.
Over there, Micaela looked at Estrella Berrocal, smiled meaningfully and said cheerfully, “Since your Mr. Adam is so kind, I’ll take the bouquet of red roses, of course.”
As for this bouquet of white roses …
Micaela hooked her red lips and smiled slightly, “This bouquet of white roses, give it to your Mr. Adam, consider it a return gift.”
Micaela took the bouquet of white roses from the messenger’s hand and tucked it into Santino Yepes’ arms.
The messenger hastened to say, “Miss Micaela, Mr. Nico has said that this bouquet is for you and that it cannot be given to anyone else.”
“If he gave me the flowers, they are mine, do I need his permission to give them to anyone?”.
“This …”
Santino Yepes understood that the white roses, which had been sent by Nico Amengual, had been sent by chance by Adán Rouco at the same time, and now Micaela was taking this bouquet of red roses, angry with the white roses?
Estrella Berrocal, who had finished her sketches, left the set with her notebook in hand.
At that point, a middle-aged woman in the group stabbed her with a knife.
“Micaela, I’m going to stab you in the face! If it weren’t for you! My husband wouldn’t have divorced me.”
Estrella Berrocal deflected the knife with her notebook, but the knife cut her arm so deeply that the blood gushed out in clots!
“Miss Star!”
Santino Yepes knocked the knife out of the woman’s hand and security rushed to the scene and took her to the ground!
The cut on Estrella Berrocal’s arm was so deep that blood was dripping down her hand, and it looked so chilling that Santino Yepes immediately called Adán Rouco.
“Boss, Miss Star is hurt, come here.”
Micaela grabbed a pack of tissues from the place and continued to help Estrella Berrocal stop the bleeding. “The cut is too deep, we have to go to the hospital, Santino, take Miss Estrella to the hospital now!”.
Santino Yepes held up Estrella Berrocal, “Miss Estrella, how are you?”
“I’m fine.”
Estrella Berrocal had somehow managed to push Micaela away when she saw the knife coming.
He could have dodged it, but if he had, the knife would have cut Micaela’s back instead of her arm, and even more, it would have hit one of her organs, with unimaginable consequences.
Adán Rouco arrived with long legs and, seeing the amount of blood that had spilled from Estrella Berrocal’s arm, coldly scolded her, “How did you hurt yourself?”
Micaela explained: “Miss Estrella is because of me…”.
Before she could finish the sentence, Adán Rouco lifted Estrella Berrocal up with a scowl and scolded her, “Who gave you permission to take a knife for someone else?”
Did he scold her for taking a knife for her soulmate? What was her heart made of?
The aggression she had been holding back for so long came to a head, and Estrella Berrocal clenched her fists tightly and said with bloodshot eyes, “Put me down! I don’t want your attention! Who are you to tell me what to do, Adán Rouco, you son of a bitch!”.
The man ignored her and held her tighter, “If you keep moving, the blood will only flow faster, so if you don’t want to bleed out, behave!”.
Estrella Berrocal looked at him with reddened eyes, but no longer dared to move, and two lines of coldness fell in silence.
Adán Rouco took her in his arms and walked quickly to the car.
…
When they arrived at the hospital, Estrella Berrocal’s eyes were tearing with pain as she cleaned the wound.
The thin, white arm, tinged red by a thick pool of blood, caused the skin to tingle, especially as Estrella Berrocal clutched at her shirt, wincing, and Adán Rouco frowned, unable to resist scolding the doctor who was cleaning her. “Be gentle!”
The doctor was innocently scolded, “Sir, I have been gentle enough, if I am lighter I will not be able to clean it, why don’t you clean it?”.
Adán Rouco’s face was sullen, his lips were pursed and he did not say another word. He put his arm around Estrella Berrocal’s shoulders and, seeing that she was crying, reached out his hand and wiped the tears from her face, saying quietly, “Hold on.”
But she was not crying from pain, but from sadness, but she took the opportunity to cry openly about the wound and the bleeding.
Once the doctor bandaged the wound, he ordered, “It’s okay now, then you will be prescribed an anti-inflammatory and topical medication. Go back and take care of it.”
Adán Rouco took her in his arms and carried her out of the debridement room.
Once outside, Estrella Berrocal began to struggle: “Put me down, I can walk alone!
The man frowned and warned him, “If you move again, I will not be responsible for any open wounds.”
Estrella Berrocal said negatively, “You will not be responsible if I move or not!”.
Adam Rouco’s dark eyes sank and anger rose in his heart, “Yesterday you jumped into the water to save someone, today you are defending someone from a knife, Estrella Berrocal, why didn’t I see you as such a great person?”
Did he know about the fact that he jumped into the lake yesterday to save Ivan Martinez?
He said biting his lip, “I saved your lover today and you don’t even appreciate me, but you keep talking nonsense, Adam Rouco, do you have any conscience?”.
“I didn’t ask you to save her!”NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
The man gave him a deep, cold look.
Estrella Berrocal felt angry and aggrieved: “Why are you mean? If it weren’t for me, Micaela would be in the hospital right now!
He was very aggressive, as if she had done something wrong, and the more he thought about it, the more tears rolled down his face.
He left her on a bench in the hospital hallway and knelt in front of her, wiping her tears with his hands, while patiently softening his voice and asking, “Are you in pain?”
Estrella Berrocal cried like a little girl: “How can such a deep cut not hurt … with so much blood?”
It hurt, it hurt a lot.
In that choked, yet playful tone, there was also a softness, like a pout, as Adam Rouco’s fingertips gently rubbed the wound bandaged with white gauze. “Micaela has nothing to do with me, protect yourself and don’t hurt yourself again trying to save others.”
