Dying in silence

I dropped my head on mom’s shoulder.

What happened today was too terrifying.

Who is trying to kill me and why.

I don’t bear grudge with anybody so why will they want to get me killed.

Oh, God!.

“Gosh, baby are you okay?, have been so worried about you”Mom gushed out, smoothing my back.

“I’m not okay, Mom. Look, Sam got shot, all because of me”I stated as I watched the guard walked to the house with Sam.

“It will be okay. You don’t have any scratch on your body, right?”she asked and I nodded.

“Yeah. The shooter killed three of the guards brutally, I wish I could do something”I sobbed quietly.

“It’s okay”Mom replied and pulled away from the embrace.

She grabbed my hand and kissed it.

“I and your Dad will look for the shooter and take him down, I promise”she said.

I nodded and glanced at Dad.

He was busy making some calls.

I sighed and started moving in with Mom by my side.

We got inside the house and we took the stairs up to my room.

I turned to my Mom Immediately we entered.

I expected Sam to be brought here.

She stared back at me and I looked away from here.

Maybe I should just go to her room then.

“I need to see Sam”I said.

“You should freshen up first, come here, I will take your bath for you”Mom replied and I rolled my eyes.

“I can bath for myself, Mom”

“I insist”

I walked inside the warehouse and his boys grabbed hold of me Immediately.

“Gosh, leave me alone, I can walk by myself”I said trying to wriggle my hand out of their grasp.

“Really?, I thought you can’t walk”one of them said sarcastically and I scoffed.

“How dare you talk to me in that manner, I’m going to teach you a lesson when I get out of here, just make sure we don’t encounter each other”I said angrily.

“I doubt you will still be alive to do that”he smirked as he opened the door.

He pushed me infront of him and I glared back at the boy.Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

I looked back at him, he was sitting down and some boys were standing behind him.

He stared at me angrily…

“On your knees”he commanded.

I went on my knees and bowed my head.

He came to stand in front of me and grabbed my hair then lift my head up.

I winced out painfully as I stared at him.

He spat on my face and I shut my eyes tightly.

“Just a simple mission, a simple mission and your failed!”he yelled in my face.

I opened my eyes and he slapped me.

“I told you to kill Fontana but what did you do?, you failed!!”he slapped me again.

“I’m sorry boss”I bowed and he scoffed angrily.

“What are you still waiting for?”he faced his boys and asked.

“C’mon whack him!”
