Dying in silence

Chapter 8 The unknown

I smiled as I heard those words.

“Repeat it”I said with a smile.

“Oh my…. please… i…. I said I’m sorry”she said and tears poured out from her eyes.

I pushed her roughly to the floor and went back to my seat, greeted with so much flashing of cameras.

*Whoo, I love that”

*I didn’t know she could be so brutal*

I heard some students murmured and I chuckled within me.

Timid Fontana now the brutal Fontana ?.

“That… was legit”Darrel whispered and I smiled.

“Yeah, right?”

“Of course”he grinned.

“So, be careful around me, if you call me a psycho again, I’m just gonna punish you the same I punished Perla”I said to him.

“Really?.. I think you’re forgetting something here. One, I taught you what you did to Perla, second, you don’t underestimate the power of a man. I’ll just crush you into pieces if you try anything funny with me”he scoffed.

Okay, that flipped my heart over.

She isn’t here. Fontana is not here.

Gosh

Where could she be, huh?.

There was not even a trace of her in the room.

I walked out of the cafeteria after searching for her non stop.

And they don’t even have another cafeteria that’s different from this here maybe that’s where she can be.

My gut keep telling me this girl isn’t attending our school.

Cause if she was, it won’t be this difficult to locate her.

Geez…

I opened the restroom door and stepped in then locked the door as usual.

I started dialing his number and he picked up at the fourth ring.

“Good news?”he asked.

“Nah. The girl is not attending this school at all, I think the whistle blower lied to you”I replied.

“What?, are… you sure about that?”

“Certainly yes. Been searching for this girl since two days now and there was still no trace of her. A girl that I could find in an hour if she was actually attending this school”

“She was never gave me a wrong Information. Did you look into this?”he asked.

“Yeah. Found a similar name – Fontana Floyd. You don’t think she changed her second name, right?”

“That isn’t possible”he mumbled.

“So, what should we do?”

There was a long silent and I thought he had hang up.

I checked the phone screen to see that the call was still ongoing.

“I have a plan. Trace fonatana Floyd down after closing time today”

Darrel and I returned to class after the bell was rung.

The students turned to look at me and then, they whispered to one other.

I ignored them and took my seat.

“I like what you did at the cafeteria, at least, for the fact you stood up for yourself. But, you acted so brutal that I thought you weren’t the fontana I knew. I wonder what the new guy is up to with you”Fred turned to stare at me and expounded.

“You saying that because you really don’t know what I had face in the hand of that girl, what I did to her is *kindness*compared to hers”I snapped at him.

He stared at me for some seconds before nodding.

“Hi”the new girl turned around and waved at us.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

“Hey”Fred said.

“Hmm”I only nodded.

The teacher came in and afternoon lecture began.

It was closing hours, I packed my books in my bag and zipped it up.

I glanced back at Darrel and so many girls were hovering around him.

My heart sunk but I shook it off.

That’s the type of person he is.

What was I expecting?

“I hope you make a rethink about your new behavior”Fred said and left.

I sighed and started walking out of the classroom.

I don’t want to be a violent girl, infact I’m not violent, I’m just trying to violate my soft and timid act because they had held me down for a long time by not standing up to my bullies and now I’m gonna break every bits of them.

That’s my rethink.

I walked through the lobby and finally, got to the lots.

My driver quickly opened the door for me and I rolled my eyes.

I stepped inside and he entered the driver’s seat and drove out.

I waited in my car for the girl and when she finally walked out of the school, I sighed in relief.

Her driver drove out of the school compound and I also ignited my engine and drove out.

I wonder if this is a good idea.

She can’t possibly be the daughter of the Longworth’s.

I followed their car slowly so I wouldn’t get noticed.

They drove for a long time and then, stopped Infront of a huge mansion.

Hun?

I whined down my louvers and stared out.

They drove and I looked up to see the name – Longworth, boldly written on the golden gate.

My mouth dropped but they soon formed into a smirk.

She is the one!

The one I’ve been looking for.

She’s the Longworth daughter.
