Enchanted Nightfall: Falling for Destiny

Chapter 321

Tyrone scratched at the door twice before reluctantly heading back to his room with his keycard, with a gloomy expression on his face. After showering, Quintessa simply lied down, ready to call it a night.

Mrs. York looked at her with a mix of disdain and concern, "Come on, you're a celeb, darling. Shouldn't you take better care of yourself?"

Quintessa rolled over on the bed, "Auntie, care about what?" Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.

"Face masks, sweetheart. You've been out in the sun all day. Don't you want to pamper your skin a bit?"

Quintessa closed her eyes, "I'm not used to it. I'm so exhausted by the end of the day, all I want is to sleep. Believe it or not, I can be out like a light in three seconds."

True to her word, it seemed like she was almost asleep after just a brief pause.

Mrs. York shook her head; just as she finished washing up and was about to do her evening routine, she remembered she wasn't in her own room.

Luckily, Mrs. York had brought along a couple of face masks in her purse. She put one on and glanced at Quintessa with a chuckle.

Quintessa, half-asleep, suddenly felt a cool sensation on her face, which jolted her awake. Opening her eyes, she saw Mrs. York's face so close to her, which startled her and made her gasp.

"Oh, Auntie."

Mrs. York smoothed out the face mask on Quintessa's face, "There, now go to sleep."

Touching her face, Quintessa couldn't help but smile, wondering how she could possibly sleep now.

Feeling unexpectedly warm-hearted in the middle of the night, she marveled at the thought that someone was still willing to pamper her like this.

Lying down and gently patting her face, Mrs. York casually asked, "Speaking of which, you've been working with Jonathan on set. What do you think of him? I'm his cousin, no ulterior motive, just asking." Quintessa responded, "He's great. Everyone on set likes him. He's humble, polite, and, let's not forget, incredibly handsome."

Mrs. York frowned internally; humility and politeness were hardly traits she'd associate with her son.

Clearing her throat, Mrs. York said, "Is that so? Well, I saw Jonathan today and I couldn't help but worry for him."

"Why's that?"

Mrs. York sighed, "He's not getting any younger, yet he's not married. His family is quite concerned. I was playing cards with his grandma before coming here, and she

mentioned that they're starti et

to

wonder if he might be gay. After all, he's been in showbiz for years without any significant rumors of dating. His grandma even showed me a photo of him hugging another man; in that pic they looked quite intimate."

Quintessa's eyes widened, "Really?"

Mrs. York nodded, "Yes, really. His grandma has mentioned several times that if there are suitable girls, they should be introduced to Jonathan to get him to settle down soon." Quintessa shook her head in disbelief.

Recalling Jonathan flirting with her before and suddenly felt a chill, she wondered if he could actually be gay. Mrs. York, being such a straightforward person and related to the Winters family, had no reason to smear him.

Mrs. York continued, "Yes, it was quite a shock to me too. Imagine if it's true, any girl who ends up with him would be so unlucky. I re

about wives who find out

husbands are gay after getting

married. It's just tragic."

"You're right, Auntie."

Leaning closer to Quintessa as if she was sharing a secret, Mrs. York whispered, "That's why when

Darlene asked for my help, I've been cautious. I can't let some innocent girl suffer. If it's not true, themall is well. But what if it is?"
