Ex-husband, Please Respect Yourself

Chapter 21: Suspicion

Chapter 21: Suspicion

"It's too big." Cathy said quietly and embarrassingly.

Tyrone looked around and gave her a half smile, "Who let you move all your things?"

Cathy frowned suddenly. "I never thought I would come back again.

The expression on the man's face faded, and he looked at her with deep eyes, as if he were thinking her words.

Yeah, she just walked away with the divorce agreement without any hesitation. She really didn't have the thoughts to come back.

The words were a bit bad. Cathy thought he was angry again. She moved her lips and wanted to open her mouth several times to say something but she failed.

She really had never thought she would come back again. Marriage had come to an end. She dared not hope for anything anymore. But nobody could have expected that life was always so unexpected.

The atmosphere was quiet and alarming. Cathy bowed her head and said softly, "Isn't there a dryer at home? You dry it for me.

The eyes of Tyrone finally moved. He took back his sight and said in a low voice, "It will take a long time. Aren't you going back to dinner?"

"I'm not hungry. I'm in a hurry to dress now." Cathy stared at him. Her dark, watery eyes were tinged with grievances. As if he would not go, she would cry in front of him.

If she didn't wear clothes, how could she eat dinner. Her face was lost completely in front of him.

Tyrone looked at her again and stopped talking. He turned around and silently took the laundry she had washed in the bathroom and stuffed the clothes into the dryer.

Setting up the time, he looked down at the dryer, and he suddenly squinted his eyes.

It would take an hour or two for a few clothes to dry. It was so long that even if he had cooked she would not get out of bed to eat. Would he have to endure such a temptation for so long? What was more, the temptation was his own woman, still lying naked in his bed.

Thinking of this, the desire surged up again. He frowned his good eyebrows with a slightly tangled expression. He even had a little regret. He should just open the bathroom door directly, perhaps now... Cathy lying in the bed waited for him in the bedroom. If she knew what the man was thinking outside, she would jump out of bed and lock the bedroom door at once.

The well-dressed animal was probably Tyrone's label in Cathy's heart.

Two hours was indeed a long time, but Tyrone would not go down to buy clothes for her, because he couldn't see... It was often more hard for him than tolerance.

"Tyrone!"

Hearing the woman's voice, the man collected himself. He slowly walked over, leaned against the door and looked at her sideways. "What's wrong?"

Cathy frowned and looked at him seriously. "Dose your mother know that you moved your work to Chicago?"

It suddenly occurred to her.

If his mother knew it, his mother would think it was related to her. She would come to her for trouble again inevitably. She was not interested in quarreling with an old lady. She wanted to have a quiet atmosphere around her.

"Well, she just knew it today." The man gave an understated answer.

Today?

Cathy frowned tighter.

It seemed that his mother must saw those articles on the Internet, so that Cathy estimated that her dissatisfaction to her was more than before.

"Didn't she quarrel with you?" He came back on time this evening which was not like quarreling with his mother at all.

"We did." The man answered carelessly, sat down on the bed and ripped the quilt off her head.

Cathy stared at the clam man.

She knew the reason without thinking at all, just... "She's your mother. You don't have to quarrel with her."

She knew Mrs. Raman's temper. Mrs. Raman would like to be respected she was a little aggressive, while this man, was cold and stubborn. His minds could never be changed. He may not quarrel with her, but attitude was enough to hurt people.

"She's my mother and she has to be reasonable too. I won't quarrel with her, but there are some things that she can't interfere with." The man was understated.

Cathy stared at him for a few seconds. She couldn't see any emotion in his eyes. She just laughed suddenly. "Are you afraid to make her into the hospital for anger? She's your mother. No matter what she does, she won't hurt you. If you really disobey her for my sake, you won't regret it later?"

The handsome man was expressionless now, and he reached out and pinched her jaw. "I did this not for anyone. I'm her son, not her pet. There are some things that she doesn't need to do. If she did, she is overbusy. It is not the business of family love."

Cathy choked slightly.

Why she said that? He didn't need her to persuade him what to do. He was always the most rational person. He often knew clearly what he wanted and what he needed.

But she didn't seem to want to let him go, tilted her head slightly and said, "What would you do if she hurts me?"

Mrs. Raman couldn't let her son obey. She regarded Cathy as a push-over.

The man gently stroked her face, with a light smile. "If you were my woman, I would do it well. But if you had nothing to do with me, why should I waste my time?" "..." Cathy was choked terribly.

The damn man gave her a trap again. In another words, if she wanted his answer, she had to admit their relationship.

To be honest, she did have a selfish desire to sound out his views but the man was real crafty, and he didn't give her any chance to do that.

Cathy squinted at him and pouted. Suddenly she pulled up the quilt and covered her head. She didn't want to see him now.

Tyrone raised his eyebrows and . A sexy smile appeared on his face. He patted her on the head across the quilt, and got up and went out. When Tyrone cooked dinner, Cathy's clothes just dried up.

After changing clothes, Cathy looked at the time, picked up her suitcase and was about to leave. "It's was late. I'm going home first."

After leaving several steps, the man grabbed her at the waist.

Tyrone frowned and his voice was quiet. "Cathy, I have endured so long. And you just leave like this?"

Cathy bit her lips. "It's too late. If I didn't go back. My mother will be worried."

Tyrone let go of her, took the box in her arms, took her hand and went to the dinning table. "After dinner, you can go back. I've already called your mother."

Cathy was stunned. When she could respond, she was pulled by the man to the dinning table. Looking at the food in front of her, she stared at him. "When did you call my mother?"

If she knew he had called her mom, she would ask her mother to bring her clothes directly, and she would not wait here until now.

"Just now." The man put the tableware in front of her, pulled out the chair behind her, took a pillow and cushioned it in the back. He held her to sit down. "If you don't rest assured, you can call your mom again."C0pyright © 2024 Nôv)(elDrama.Org.

Cathy glared at him compressing her lips.

She didn't call. If he deceived her, this phone would let her expose.

He gave a bowl of soup to her. Tyrone had no choice but to change the point. "Have you known how to explain the suspension to them when you come back?"
