Chapter 70: Stay Away from Him
The man rebuilt his reputation by only a meal.
She took back her hands and rolled her eyes. She said cold-hearted," You go ahead. I'm going to pack up."
Cathy's mother did not pay attention to Cathy. Then she smiled and said to Tyrone," Tyrone, I'm not convenient with my legs. Could you please send her to the taxi?"
Cathy interrupted her before the man answered," Mother, I'm no longer a kid. I knew how to get home by myself."
Cathy's mother noticed Cathy was really annoyed so she shut her mouth grudgingly.
Tyrone was not bothered. He looked at Cathy and smiled," Don't worry, I would let someone to send her home."
He would send her home by himself if he doesn't have to catch a flight.
Cathy did not want to argue with him in the room. She just shoot a glance at him then she said to her mother with a bag in her hands," Please have a rest. Call me or the nurse if you need anything. I'll go back now."
"Ok, go a ahead."
Cathy got out from the ward by urging of her mother. The man followed her like a tail.
Cathy did not turn and look at him until she got to the gate of the hospital but the man talked first before her.
"I will take care of Mr.Franklin. I'm not sure about when he gonna arrive in Chicago. Don't contact with him these days."
Cathy frowned a little and sneered," Do you know what kind of person Mr. Franklin is? Even Mr. Brown dreaded him. Do you think it was depending on me that if he contacts me?"
Tyrone got close to her and said seriously," He wanted you because he got his purpose. Refuse him if you could. I don't think Mr. Franklin would embarrass you. You won't be working with this body in months. Do not make yourself in trouble."
"Refuse him if I could? It is easy to say. I won't admit him to take over issues of LT if I could refuse him. It was never easy at all to deal with people like you. I did not reach this position with nothing. Did you think I just picked it up from the street randomly?" Cathy looked at him and said sneered.
Tyrone frowned. His good looking straight body stood in front of her," I'm just cooperating with Vanten Technology but James Franklin was different. Why you compare me with him? I never think about hurting you with anything."
Cathy stunned. She nibbled her lips then she sneered, "Hah... Tyrone Raman, you flattering well now. Do you think you are different from him in my view? You are all clients of Vanten and you are all businessmen good at calculating with stink of money. Besides, how could I know if you are talking bad of him to make mischief? Was this strategy something new?"
The man looked at her. He was a little angry that you could tell from his expression. His short hair was lay down on his forehead. His forceful nose made his face looked more handsome. He was cold-hearted and profound when he was in silence but not that kind of cold-hearted that could freeze people up. He was just matured.
Cathy was a little panic in her mind.
Was he angry?
She swallowed and shoot a glance at him furtively then said," I'm leaving if there is nothing else."
Tyrone looked at her deeply. He did not talk about James Franklin anymore. He only said," My driver will be here soon, his going to send you home."ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
"Don't bother. I can take a taxi by myself." That driver must be the one who sends him to the airport.
"Cathy..." Tyrone was interrupted by the vibration of Cathy's phone when he was going to retort.
Cathy glanced at him and picked up the phone," Hello, Matt."
Tyrone squinted his eyes when he heard the name Matt. His breath went cold quietly.
Matt was good at timing.
"Don't bother, I'm going back right now."
"It really does not have to be a problem. Don't bother since you have to look after Mila. I'm waiting for the car now."
"Ok, thank you Matt. Have a good rest to you, too."
Cathy hung up the phone with a soft smile when she finished the last words.
"Stay away from him in the future."
