Chapter 457: Bad Attack
Bill smiled. “He’s the son of one of my friends.”
“Oh, right.” Kylie understood within a second.
In the show, the role Ben was going to play was an autistic child called Peter. Peter seldom talked and ached for his parents’ company.
Ben’s character was very like Peter in the show.
However, Peter’s mother gave up her favorite job to take care of Peter afterward, and Peter was getting better and better day by day.
In the end, he sang a song to help his parents get back together, which was the climax of the show.
It must be touching, and Kylie was slightly worried about Ben’s performance.
Anyway, Director Wyatt found the little boy in person, so it should be fine.
Half an hour later, the shooting began.
Kate held Ben’s hand, walking across a road. When they almost arrived at the gate of the kindergarten, Ben suddenly stopped.
“Daddy,” he said in his cute voice.
Kate glanced at the direction, then urged him to walk ahead. “It’s not daddy. It’s just a car that looks like daddy. Peter, come on, we’ll be late.”
Ben walked into his school and turned around to look at the car once in a while.
The camera moved to the SUV stopped by the roadside. A woman with long hair took a bunch of roses from a man in the car. “Thanks. I love it.”
“Cut!” It was done by just one take.
“Ben’s really good,” Kylie said to Fannie, who stood by her side. “His eyes said everything.”
“Right, my heart ached for him just then.” Fannie nodded.
Ben ran to Kylie carrying his school bag. “What should I do if I see my father being with another woman?” he asked with a serious face.
Kylie laughed and bent. “Ben, it’s not real. It’s just a show.”
“I mean, if.” Ben insisted.
“Well, if it really happens, you can run to slap her!” Kylie joked.
“Thanks.” Ben walked away with his assistant.
“He’s so cute.” Fannie also laughed.
“Yeah.” Kylie looked at Ben’s back and rubbed her own belly. She hoped her babies could be as cute as Ben.

Matthew’s work didn’t go well because he met a great opponent called Romeo, who was a businessman from Italy.
“Ethan, I already offered a high price, but Romeo was willing to pay double!” Matthew sat in a chair with his legs crossed.
Ethan moved his eyes away from the document. “I’ll arrange for someone else to acquire the land.”
“You’ve been working hard these days. Why don’t you have a vacation? How about Thailand?” He leaned against the back of the executive chair.
Hearing that, Matthew’s smile froze on his face and abruptly stood up. “Do you want to chase me away?” He rounded his eyes in shock.
“I’m one of the shareholders of Century Group as well. You can’t take over the whole company. Impossible!” He pressed his hands against the executive desk.
Ethan laid his hands on the desk with his fingers entwined. “You don’t dare go to Thailand?”
“Of course, I dare!” Matthew sounded determined but was in a panic. He looked around for a while, then asked Ethan, “Why do you want me to go to Thailand?”
“I just said you need a vacation.” Ethan’s voice was calm and cold.
“I don’t!” Matthew got angry.
He couldn’t leave Seattle, especially now.
Ethan stared at his nervous face. “Then what do you need now? A magical pill?”
Once Matthew heard the two words, a touch of excitement flashed by his saggy eyes.
He approached Ethan. “You know it as well? Isn’t it a good thing?”
He looked at Ethan from head to toe. “It can help you stay strong and forget everything you don’t want to remember.”
“Is there anything I don’t want to remember?” Ethan stared straight at him.
“Ladyboy Song and Dance Ensemble!” Matthew blurted it out, then realized he shouldn’t have said that.
Ethan stood up from his chair, looking down at Matthew. “Say that again.”
Matthew was scared and stepped backward. With a loud sound, the chair was knocked over by him on the ground.© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.
When Matthew lifted the chair up, he fixed his eyes on Ethan’s body, in case Ethan dashed over and punched him.
It was a taboo subject in the Parker family, and everyone was forbidden to bring it up.
Sweat soon poured down Matthew’s face because he was in great fear and hadn’t eaten a magical pill for a few days.
“Ethan, please don’t blame me…” Matthew hid behind the chair. “If you hadn’t forced me to go to Thailand, I wouldn’t have brought it up…”
Ethan didn’t move a step at all. Instead, he stood upright with his hands in the pockets.
Matthew’s hands were trembling. He swallowed with great force, then continued to explain it. “Well, you’re fine and safe right now, right? I-I can leave for a vacation, b- but I’m occupied with work these days. Oh, Taylor just forgave me, and we need time to get along with each other… Please…”
Matthew didn’t know what he was talking about, and his face started to turn pale. His shirt was soaked in his sweat now.
Ethan squinted at him, then took out a small bottle from his pant pocket.
“What? What is it?” Matthew asked with excitement. He ached to get it but didn’t dare move ahead. “What do you think it is?” Ethan said.
“A magical pill?” Matthew tried to move several steps forward but quickly retreated to the back of the chair. “Where did you get it? It’s already out of stock in the Earth Nightclub.”
There was a sneer on Ethan’s lips. “I can get whatever I want.”
Matthew went crazy all of a sudden and ran ahead to grab the small bottle, but it was lifted up high by Ethan.
“Ethan, I’m begging you. Please give it to me. I can pay you no matter how much money you want for it!” Matthew couldn’t move his eyes away from the bottle.
“Do you still have any money?” Ethan asked.
“I have my shares! I can give you my shares!” Matthew looked quite pitiful. “Please, give it to me. I haven’t eaten it for so long…” Saliva flew down from the corner of his lips.
Matthew was like having a bad attack of drug addiction now.
