Chapter 2255
Chapter 2255
Watching the girl's confident smile, Estelle suddenly felt that although Norah appeared delicate, she harbored great strength within her. What else could she say? She just gave her an encouraging look, "Here's to a new year where all your dreams come true!"
"Alright, here's to conquering this tough nut!" Norah was brimming with confidence.

Magdalen ended up drinking last night, and quite a bit at that. She didn't wake up until noon and immediately called Estelle.
"Ella, have you left yet?"
Estelle had just returned to the Royal Mansion, "No, I had lunch with the Lamont family. Heading to the airport soon."
"Oh, then I'll just meet you at the airport." Magdalen hurriedly got out of bed.
"No need to come over. Just rest," Estelle reminded her. "Don't forget about Sylvia's thing."
Magdalen slapped her forehead, "I haven't called Sylvia yet. I'll do it now!"
"Alright!"
After hanging up, Magdalen looked up to see Morrison standing at the door, holding a cup of hangover tea.
She ran her fingers through her hair, fluffing it up a bit, and squinted with a smile, "Mr. Langston, good morning!"
"Morning? Do you even know what time it is?" Morrison looked at her with a slight frown.
Magdalen got out of bed and hugged him, "I got too carried away last night. Forgive me, Mr. Langston, for my foolishness!"
Then she suddenly remembered something and exclaimed, "Did we... take any precautions last night?"
"What do you think?" Morrison scoffed. "You were the one who got drunk, not me."
Magdalen breathed a sigh of relief. Her beautiful features shone in the sunlight as she hugged Morrison and cooed, "I promise, it's the last time!"
Morrison looked at her
dispassionately, "If there's a next
time, we'll just stop trying for a baby. You can have all the fun you want, and
join you. We'll think about it
when you're ready."
Magdalen looked at him skeptically, "Really?"
"Really!" Morrison said calmly. "But before that, we'll have to explain things to your parents early on. We can't have them thinking I'm the issue because you haven't gotten pregnant for so long!"
Magdalen couldn't help but laugh and hugged him, "I really do understand. I promise, it's the last time!"
Knowing he was also to blame for indulging her, Morrison didn't scold her further. He gently rubbed the top of her head, "Headache? Drink the tea first, then come downstairs for breakfast."
"Okay, I'll call Sylvia and then join you!"
Morrison leaned down for a quick kiss on her lips, his voice softening, "I'll wait for you downstairs."
After exchanging a brief kiss with him, Magdalen let him go downstairs while she made her call.
Sylvia had invited an old client for a casual lunch meeting, discussing some details of their cooperation in the process.
Upon her return, Milanda made her a coffee, "You've been busy all morning. Take a break before getting back to work."
"It's okay!" Sylvia said, sipping her coffee and reviewing a document. "Is Lilian in charge of the Iriver Group's annual meeting this
afternoon? I'll go with her. It's a good opportunity to sign the annual cooperation agreement with the Inver Group."
"Sure thing!" Milanda responded.
After discussing some work matters, Milanda mentioned, "By the way, Casey from the PR department came to me today. She asked if she could go home early for the holidays. Could I approve it?"
Sylvia nodded, "Yes, as long as they finish their work, they can go home early. Make sure to distribute their year-end bonuses before they leave." Milanda smiled, "Great, I'll notify her this afternoon."
She hesitated before asking, "And what about you, boss? Where will you be spending the holidays?"
