Chapter 30
Chapter 30
Estelle looked up, raised her eyebrows, “You know love? Why would you say that?”
“Look at her, smiling like a fool!” Henson snorted
Estelle walked upstairs. “The essence of love is to make people happy.”
Henson snorted again, “Then I won’t fall in love in the future, and neither should you.”
Estelle was puzzled, “Why shouldn’t I?”
Henson confidently said, “If you become an idiot, how will you teach me?”
Estelle looked at him expressionlessly. “Do you know what your uncle said to me that afternoon?”
Henson asked curiously, “What did my uncle say?”
“Your uncle said that my intelligence level is now as low as yours!” Estelle sneered and walked past
him.
Henson was stunned, and quickly caught up, “My uncle couldn’t possibly say that!”
The one-and-a-half-hour class quickly passed by, and as Estelle packed up her things and headed
downstairs, she saw Jonathan sitting on the couch.
Remembering the previous incident, she felt a little embarrassed, so she pretended not to see him and
thought about sneaking away.
But Henson, who was following her, suddenly spoke up, “Ms. Macclain, this afternoon my uncle and I
are going to the Equestrian Center, you should come too.”
Estelle hesitated, and Jonathan looked up as expected. He put down his phone, walked over, and said
softly,” Is the class over?”
“Yes!” Estelle smiled and nodded.
Henson repeated, “Uncle, can Ms. Macclain come with us?”
Estelle declined, “No need, you guys go ahead!”
Jonathan, as handsome as ever, said, “If you have nothing else to do this afternoon, come with us. I
have a meeting at the Equestrian Center, and Henson will have no one to keep him company.”
With Jonathan saying that, Estelle couldn’t say anything else and agreed with a nod.
Jonathan checked the time and said, “Let’s leave now then. There’s a barbecue prepared at the
mansion, and we can have lunch there!”
“Awesome!” Henson was so excited he almost jumped up and asked Jonathan excitedly, “Can I go
fishing?” “Yes, we’ll have the fish you catch for lunch!” Jonathan ruffled Henson’s hair, a faint smile in
his dark eyes.
Estelle saw Jonathan’s gentle expression for the first time, couldn’t help but stare for a few seconds
before looking away.
Everyone loves to appreciate beautiful things.
Jonathan personally drove Estelle and Henson to the Equestrian Center.
In the car, Estelle whispered to Henson, “Didn’t you say that your uncle wouldn’t take you horseback
riding anymore if you made a mistake?”
Henson said proudly, “Yeah, but that promise was canceled. This time it’s a reward for me standing up
for what’s right!”
Estelle remained silent, “……”
Is that really how it works?
Is she supposed to praise him for being decisive or hold him accountable for his clear rewards and
punishments?
The ultimate authority lies with the decision maker!
But Henson got a reward, and her supposed raise was taken away as punishment. What’s the deal
with that?
When she has time, she’ll have to settle this situation with Henson.
Jonathan looked at Estelle’s eye-rolling and speechless expression and immediately realized that she
was concerned about her money. Unconsciously, a smile formed at the corner of his lips.
The Equestrian Center belonged to the Lament family. It used to be where Jonathan raised his horses
before opening it to the public when he went abroad.
It was located near the southern suburbs, covering a large area with a beautiful environment and
complete facilities, including a restaurant, hotel, indoor entertainment, racetrack, professional track…
It was a weekend, so there were more people than usual. The three of them went to change into their
riding outfits.
Estelle changed quickly and waited for the others in the lounge area. She took out her phone and RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

She looked up and saw Jonathan walking over.
