Found Again

My vlog was a huge hit. I was able to achieve fifty thousand subscribers on my first episode or vlog. I was already happy at that time. But my vlog reached one million subscribers after posting my interview with Noah. I already expected that my interview with him will be a hit but to reach two million views in one day and one million subscribers in two weeks?! That is insane!

I was busy looking at the comments on my vlog when my phone rang. I automatically smile upon seeing the name of the caller.

“My star!”

“NOAH!” I screamed his name.

I heard him chuckle. “I know you’re happy but you don’t need to shout my star.” He said while laughing.

I ignore his teasing. I was so happy right now and no one will be able to break this joy that I am feeling right now.

“Thank you so much, Noah! I owe it all to you!” I told him.

“Don’t say that. It’s not my first time being interviewed. But those interviews were not as crazy as this. I mean the response from the people is crazy!” Noah said.

“Because your story is exemptional. I mean that interview showed the different side of you. Even I was surprised by your story.” I told him.

“Yes but I never told you about that story. It was you who put the effort to do thorough research about me that is why you got the story that anyone else failed to ask. The interview was a success because of you.”

This is one of the things I like about Noah. He’s confident but humble. He is always willing to help and never expects anything in return. He is a great friend and I’m so blessed to have met him.

“Thank you for saying that but I still owe it to you.” I insisted.

“Well if that is the case, you can just treat me today.”

And here we are at one of his restaurants. I can’t say no to this person.

“I talk to Catherine awhile ago, she told me that your collaboration with them is already set,” Noah said after the waiter finish serving our food.

I nodded at him. “Yes, we are planning to shoot within this week to be able to get the preview before I uploaded my third vlog. My collaboration with Lush will be my fourth vlog.”

“Do you need my team?” Noah asked.

I smile at him with matching puppy eyes. “Yes. I will be needing Jacko and Robert.”

“What about the others?”

“I can style myself and do the make-up.”

“Okay sure. I’ll talk to Jacko and Robert, just tell me the exact date of your shoot.”

After our lunch, Noah asked me to come with him to his shoot. He was planning to introduce me to Ava Lewis. Ava is also a high fashion model. I did not think twice and gave my yes to Noah.

Since I decided to pursue my fashion and vlogging career, I started to research the celebrities and influencers was in the fashion industry here in America and also in Europe. I was hoping to collaborate with more fashion influencers and celebrities here in America and all over the world. Of course, I would also like to feature Filipino artists that make a name internationally. And Noah promises me that he will help me achieve my goal.

When Noah and I arrived at the studio, he introduce me to the staff, director, and Ava briefly. They all started to get ready for the shoot. Ava promises to meet me after the shoot.

I never felt bored because I was amazed as I saw them busy with the shoot. I think I am falling for this industry.

“Are you okay, my star?” Noah ask when he had a short break.

“Don’t mind me. I am enjoying watching you guys work.”

Noah nodded. Mia called him to change his outfit.

“Will I expect to cry during the interview?” Ava asked.

I chuckled. “I don’t know yet. It depends on the story that you will share with us.”

“I’m a bit nervous about the interview. I don’t want to look like a crybaby like Noah did. But I’m excited for having you as my stylist for a day. I hope it could be a month though, I’m a fan of your mom by the way.”

I was surprised by how accomodating and friendly Ava is with me. I mean, her image in public is not like this. She look intimidating whenever you saw her on runways.

“My mom will be visiting me next week. She may come with me on our interview.” I told her.

Ava’s eyes widen. “Wow! Really? OMG! I can’t believe that I will meet her in person!”

I look at Noah and he also looks shocked.

“You didn’t tell me that!” Noah sounded a bit hurt.

“I just got a call from mom during your shoot. I was about to tell you about it. Wait, are you also a fan of my mom?”

“Of course! Your mom is a legend!” Noah said in a bit exaggerating expression.

I just shook my head.

I felt exhausted when I reach home. I was already preparing for my bath when I saw my iPad rang. It was a facetime call from Lance. I was having a second thought if I will answer his call or not. But knowing Lance, I know he will not stop until I answer his call.

I sighed before I click the answer button.

“Hey, cousin! Congratulations on your one million subscribers on your channel! When are you doing to receive your gold button?” He asked as soon as I answer his call.

“I’m not sure. Maybe in two or three weeks.” I answered him.

“Wow! I can’t believe that you got one million subscribers in just two weeks. I can’t help but be proud of you Alli! I guess you did a great choice.” Lance said with full of sincerity.

I smile at him. I was happy to hear that from him. We were both silent for a few minutes. I know he wants to say something.

Lance sighed aloud. “I talk to Andrew,” He said in a serious tone.

My heart started to beat fast. I was so busy with my vlogs to the point that I have no time to think about Andrew. But now that his name was mentioned again, my heart is acting up again. I want to blame Lance for mentioning him now.

“I don’t want to talk about him,” I told Lance in a cold voice.

“Is that the reason why you blocked him?”

I was not able to answer Lance. So Andrew already told Lance that I blocked him in all my social media account and my phone?! Did he also tell Anne about it? I’m sure I look like a sore loser to them.

“Come on Alli! Don’t be like that. It was you who left him remember?!” Lance said.

“I know that is why I am not saying anything. I just accepted his decision and I did not say anything! I did block him but that just it! ” I said in a bit loud voice.

Lance raised his two hands. “Hey, I’m not picking a fight here. I just mentioned him because Auntie told me that they are planning to visit you there next week. I just want to ask if I could invite the group to go with us to visit you. The boys miss you.”

My mind started to panic. I am not ready to see Andrew yet. My heart is not yet healed.

“Don’t you dare do that! I don’t want to see Andrew for now! I am not yet over him!”

Lance chuckled. I gave him a death glare.

“You might thank me for this. I’m sure Andrew only did that because he was just hurt. And once he saw you in person again, he will realize that he still loves you and he will come back to you.”

My heart sank when Lance indirectly confirm Andrew and Anne’s relationship. “It’s already too late for that Lance. He’s already with Anne, I don’t want to ruin their relationship.”

“You are not ruining anything. You are just reclaiming what’s yours.”
