Found Again

Iya and Vince possible romance never crossed my mind. I always thought that Iya will end up Mavin even though I know that Mavin has a girlfriend. There is something in Mavin and Iya that I can’t explain. Maybe it’s the chemistry between them since they belong to the same radio program and their listeners or supporters are also rooting for them.

But seeing how flustered Iya is right now after I asked her if something is going on between her and Vince, I guess, something is really going on between them. And I can’t wait to know all the details from them.

When I was new to the group, Vince was the closest to me. The friendship that we built at that time was like the friendship I have with Charles.

“Silent means yes. OMG! I can’t believe it! Does Andrew knows about you two?” I asked Iya while giggling.

“Oh no, Alli! Don’t tell it yet to my cousin. We are not there yet, we are in a getting to know each other stage but more deeply and romantically.” Iya said a bit shy.

I am happy for her. Seeing how she blushes while telling me those words only proves how happy she is and she is already over with Mavin. But the inner Marites (Filipino term for gossiper) in me wants to know about Mavin.

“What happened to Mavin? I mean after you found out that she already has a girlfriend?”

She smiles at me but it didn’t reach her eyes. “Mavin is doing good. He was very much in love with his girlfriend. I really thought that he likes me, but it was all my delusion. He was planning to propose to his girlfriend this month. He even asks me for advice.”

My heart is aching for Iya. I know the feeling when the person you love is already with someone else. But Iya’s situation is worse than mine. It’s torture for her to listen to Mavin talking about his girlfriend, what’s more, asking her for advice about his wedding proposal to his girlfriend. I was sorry for not being there for her when she was experiencing that.

“I’m sorry Iya because I was there when you needed someone to talk to or lean on,” I said full of regrets.

Iya holds my hand and smiles warmly at me. “I understand. You are also going through something.”

Iya’s statement made me guiltier. “Yes, but mine was because of misunderstanding,” I said a bit ashamed to admit it.

“Let’s not dwell on the past. Everything happens for a reason. If you were there for me at that time, then what I have with Vince now wouldn’t be possible.” Iya said to comfort me.

I get her point and I agree that everything happens for a reason. And honestly, I can’t totally say that I regret not asking Andrew for an explanation because if I did that then all the things I have now will be gone. There’s always a perfect season for everything.

Two years ago is a season for my career and now is the season for love.

After our dinner, all of us went back to my house. I still need to shoot them playing as a band. It will be the first public appearance or debut of the Allison band.

Iya and I were so thrilled to watch them again. All of them were very busy in the past years that’s why they weren’t able to jam just like in the past.

“After two years, we finally got the time to jam just like the old times,” Lance said while the five of them were testing their equipment.

Mike is on drums, Vince on bass, Lance on rhythm, Lieo on keyboard and vocals, and of course my love, Andrew on lead guitar and vocals.

I miss seeing them perform. I’m couldn’t be happier now because people will finally see a hidden gem in the music industry. I always feel like Allison band is a loss to the music industry, their band deserves to be known not just in the Philippines but in the world.

I started setting up my camera to record them. I also opened my IG account to do live. I can’t wait for the world to see them. It’s their time to shine.

“Hi, my beautiful stars! I have great news for all of you! My most favorite band in the world is here with me now. I always wanted the world to see this band. They are great and don’t deserve to be hidden.” I started my intro spiels.

I could see the excitement and curiosity in all of them. Some already guess that it’s Andrew’s college band. My viewers were more excited about the possibility that I’m referring to Andrew’s college band.

“I’m here in my cousin’s band room that he built for his group. And your guess is right guys, it’s Andrew’s college band and yes, Andrew and Vince are here with me now. Vince and Andrew say hi to the fifty-four thousand viewers!” I said then I move the phone camera to Andrew and Vince.

“Hi, guys!” Andrew and Vince greeted them.

My comment section exploded with the viewer’s excitement to watch them. I move my phone camera to myself again to introduce Iya as well.

“And you guys are extra lucky because with me is the very beautiful DJ Iya!” I said then zoom out the phone camera for the viewers to see Iya.Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

“Hi everyone!’ Iya greeted them.

I look at my comment section and they were all asking why Iya is with us and if I’m close to her.

“Trivia guys, Iya is my best friend. And I’m not sure if you guys knew that Iya is Andrew’s cousin. It was thru Andrew that I met Iya and we became the closest friends.”

The viewers started to mention Anne and ask if I was also close with her. I chose to ignore their question and tried to think of a better spiel.

“I know how much you guys want Andrew and Vince to be in my vlog and magazine. I am giving you want you wanted and so much more.” I said instead so that they won’t ask again about Anne.

I saw Lance give a thumbs up, meaning that they are ready to start.

I smile widely at the camera, with no plans of hiding the excitement that I am feeling right now. “Now, I am proud to introduce to you, Allison band!”

I click the record button on my camera and shift my phone to them, then Mike gave his signal then they started playing.

Hearing the song that they played warmed my heart. It was the song that Andrew sang for me on our first date and asked me to be his girlfriend. It brings me back to wonderful memories.

Every line in the song, thank God I found you, hits me. Andrew was looking out at me while singing the first verse. I could feel his love for me through the song.

Then Lieo sang the second verse. It was my first time hearing him sing. He also has a soulful voice, their tone is a bit different but both are beautiful to listen to.

When Andrew and Lieo sing together, you could hear how their voice complements each other. This band is so perfect. I hope that they could give people the chance to hear them more. I know they can’t pursue a band career, but I still hope for them to produce an album that could make history. I am more than willing to be their producer.

After they finish with the son. I pick my phone again and shift the camera back to me. As expected they all love it and they are asking for more. They were all hoping for them to release an album.

“Wow! Thank you guys for your warm support for my favorite band. Don’t worry guys I will post this on my vlog channel. You could play their cover song as many as you can.” I said.

I saw some who are asking about the name of the band. Why was the band named after me? They even ask if I was the one who suggested the name of the band.

“I know you guys are all curious why the band name is Allison. They will answer that in my interview with them. I hope you guys will watch it!”

Now, I’m a hundred percent sure that my cover for next month will be a huge hit because aside from Filipino viewers, my followers in America are starting to get curious about the band.
