“A-Andrew…”

Vince stopped Iya from going to Andrew. “I’ll talk to him.” He whispered to her.

Iya nodded at him and step aside.

I caress Andrew’s arm to calm him down. He was shaking in rage. I cleared my throat, my heart is beating so fast. I hope that Vince will be able to make Andrew accept their relationship.

Vince clenched his jaw before he turn to Andrew. Both of them are staring intently at each other. While the others are waiting for their next move.

I could see the confusion in Mike and Lance’s faces but they chose to keep quiet. While Lieo seems to have an idea about Vince and Iya’s secret relationship.

“I’m in love with your cousin.” Vince was the first one who broke the silence.

Mike and Lance gasped at Vince’s confession. Lieo and I remain quiet while Iya was shaking as she kept on looking at Andrew.

Vince then hold Iya’s hand who was standing beside him. Andrew looks at their hands.

“You can’t!” Andrew strongly disagrees.

My eyes widen and turned to him. “But why?” I butted in.

He turned to me giving me a cold stare. “You should know since you were the one who first suggested keeping our relationship a secret.”

I pursed my lips. I get his point now. Vince is a famous actor and I heard that their tv network will give him an official love team since his latest project with the actress he was paired with has captured many casual viewers and now starting to have a strong fanbase. If the public found out about their relationship then Iya will be affected the most. She will be the one who will receive all hateful comments and her radio program will surely be affected too.

“I know what you mean, but I promise you I will protect her,” Vince said in full conviction.

“How are you going to do that? I heard that your network will officially launch your love team with Isabel.” He asked.

“They suggested but I never agree to that.”

“Do you really have a say on that? Your love team with Isabel will surely bring millions of contracts to the network.”

“Of course, I have a say on that! The network will be mine, they should side with me if they still want their position.”

Andrew turned to his cousin. “Will you be able to handle the bashers and other consequences when your relationship with Vince is exposed to the public?” He asked her a bit calmer now.

“I’ll protect her if that happens.” Vince was the one who answered.

Andrew glared at him. “I’m not asking you. Iya?”

Iya cleared her throat then she look bravely at Andrew. “Yes.”

“Are you sure?”

Andrew sighed aloud. “Fine, if you say so.”

My eyes widen. I can’t believe that Andrew will accept them this fast. I’m so proud of him. I hug and gave him a quick kiss on Andrew. “I’m so proud of you baby!” I whispered.

He chuckled and he place his hands on my waist. “You have some explaining to do Allison.”

I bit my lips and lower my head. He held my hand and we went back to the lounge. While Lance and Mike started to ask questions about the new love birds.

“Explain.” He said as soon as we reach the lounge.

I pouted my lips. “I didn’t mean to keep it to you.” I started my speech.

“I didn’t know that you were so dense. Those two are so obvious in their relationship. I can’t believe you just found it now.” I added.

Well, it’s true. Vince and Iya are so obvious with their actions.

“So, it’s my fault now?”

I shook my head. “That’s not what I meant. Fine, I’m sorry baby for keeping it to you. It’s a story for me to tell. And Iya told me that Vince will be the one who will tell you about their relationship.”

“Oh, really?! That’s not what happened earlier.” Andrew said a bit annoyed.

“I know right. But maybe he can’t find the perfect timing since the both of you are so busy.” I said.

“Whatever! I just hope he will really be able to protect my cousin once their relationship was exposed to the public or I will make their network pay.”

I gave him a soft punch. “Don’t say that! You guys are best of friends!”

“I know. But I can forget the friendship that we have with my cousin. I love my family so much and I don’t want anyone of them to be hurt. I will do everything to spare them from pain.” He said sincerely.

My heart softens after hearing those words from him. I am loving my boyfriend more and more.

A month passed after the sudden confrontation. Iya and Vince became more open about their relationship. Lance and Mike can’t believe that they did not notice the two but they gave their all-out support to them.

I block my schedule today because Andrew wants to spend this day with me. Liam and I will be leaving for the US tomorrow. As we have agreed, I’ll help him to secure his promotion in the company, and our trip to the US will play a big part in it.

We already started our plan, and Anne seemed to notice it already. I could feel the intense glare she gave me whenever she was with me and Andrew.

Andrew became a bit cold towards Anne. I keep on telling him to act like before but he can’t force himself to treat Anne like before. He can’t find himself yet to forgive her which I understand. I just wish that someday he finds it in his heart to forgive her.

We went to our favorite restaurant. Aside from the food and the ambiance, we love the privacy that the restaurant provided the most.

“I would love to join you guys in the US but I can’t. My meetings won’t allow me.”

I smiled at him. “Even if you are free, I will not allow you to come with us. It’s part of our plan, remember?!” I said reminding him.

He sighed aloud. “I know. I just want this thing to be over. I can’t believe that we need to do this for them. I mean, we’re already out of their issue.”

“I know, but still, Anne was once our friend. We should be the bigger person here.” I just said.

Andrew just shook his head. I shift the topic so that it will not ruin our date. I will not see him for a week or two since I also have many commitments in the US aside from the plan that I have with Liam.

Andrew sent me home. I did not invite him to come inside because I know that he will stay for more hours if I did that. My flight is early in the morning tomorrow and I have not yet packed my things for the said trip.

I was busy packing my things for my trip when my phone rang. I saw Anne’s name on my phone. My forehead creased. I have already seen this happen.

“Yes?”

“Can we talk? I’m outside your house right now.”
