Gina, And Her Triplet Alphas

Chapter 22

Third-Person Narrative.

The triplets tightened up their security across the borders after they witnessed the attempted attack on Gina.

They wondered what would have happened if they had not kept tabs on her.

They had previously decided to have some spies keep tabs on Gina because they feared that she might run away on or before her birthday.

The fact that Gina has been entirely avoiding them tells them that she has something up her sleeve, and that was the reason they implanted the spies to watch over her.

They were having a meeting with the other pack warriors when they were sent a mind link by one of the spies that Gina was leaving the pack house that evening. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

Their initial thought was that Gina was running away, so, using their super speed ability, they got to the bush path only to see that she was surrounded by a group of rogues.

At first, they lingered a while, wanting to find out what was happening and why Gina had been attacked.

The lustful glances the rogues cast at Gina’s body were all evidence that the rogues were out on a mischievous adventure.

At first, they wanted to attack the rogues and tear them apart but later decided to just chase them off. as it was considered taboo to kill someone in the pack during ceremonies.

After chasing the rogues away, they followed her to see that she was going to Gwen’s father’s house. They waited for her to deliver her message and watched over her until she got back to the palace, where one of them stayed back to keep watch over her from a distance.

To them, Gina’s attempted attack was just a security breach that could have happened to anyone, and thus, they had to ensure that it didn’t happen again.

As the future alphas, they needed to make sure that they had everything and everyone under control, but the only thing they couldn’t get a hold of was their emotions toward Gina.

It has been very difficult for them to stay away from her, but they knew that it was the only way to keep her safe. Notwithstanding, they were so unwilling to let her leave the pack.

Meanwhile, Gwen’s father was furious at the three rogues he had sent to eliminate the slave girl.

Despite the rogue’s efforts to tell him that it was not their fault and that they were stopped by the triplets’ alphas, Gwen’s father would not hear of it.

He insisted that if they had stood their ground, they would have been able to kill the slave girl before the triplets got there.

He was so miserable about how he had failed his precious daughter.

Notwithstanding, the slave girl will have to die one way or another. And there is no better day to kill the slave girl than on his daughter’s birthday.

Everyone would be too busy to notice that anything had happened to her, and this time he will be the one to kill her himself to avoid getting too many people involved in his conspiracy.

He discharged the rogues and started planning how he was going to carry out his plans on that fateful night.

Meanwhile, the palace was getting more guests than usual, as most people had traveled from far and wide to celebrate the incoming Luna.

This meant that there was more work than usual in the palace, and the person who felt the workload most was Gina.

Gina would mop the entire palace after each set of visitors left and would help out in the kitchen when the cook needed assistance.

She was doing all she could to make sure no one would suspect that she was on a mission to run away.

Finally, the morning leading up to Gwen’s birthday came, and festivities took over the pack as everyone was busy celebrating.

Tons and tons of birthday gifts were brought for Gwen, and even though Gina tried not to be jealous.

She couldn’t help the fact that not even one person had remembered that she too was having her birthday.

While she was helping with the decorations, she saw the triplets drive their exotic cars, which were filled to the brim with gifts, into the palace.

And as soon as they packed their cars, some of the maids were asked to go take the gifts to Gwen’s room.

Seeing how many gifts they had gotten for Gwen made her a little jealous because, even though she didn’t understand it, she felt she was being robbed of her privileges.

She however consoled herself with the fact that after tonight she would no longer have these feelings for the triplets.

Later that evening, everyone was getting ready for the party that would usher Gwen into becoming the future Luna.

Since midnight was when they usually get their first transformation, Gwen was expected to come before the triplets by 1:00 am sharp. The one hour was to enable her to transform and get prepared for her outing.

She had spent several hours of the day listening to experts who taught her what to expect during the transformation.

Since she would be completely naked before the transformation, she was required to pick only two people she could trust to look after her, and she decided that she would go to her father’s house for the transformation.

So on that morning, Gwen took her things to her father’s house while she happily waited for it to be midnight already.

Gina.

I was still very busy that evening when a maid came to tell me that someone was calling me. My first thought was that it must be Gwen, but then I remembered she had gone to her father’s house.

I immediately stopped what I was doing and went in the direction the maid had pointed. But surprisingly, I saw no one, so I went back to what I was doing.

Not long after that, I saw Gwen’s father walk into the compound. He was happy and full of pride as always.

He was about to enter the palace when he saw me and stopped. He sized me up and down with his eyes while flaring his nose as if I were carrying a bowl of poop on my head before going his way.

I just continued with what I was doing, reassuring myself that all these humiliations would be over soon.

“Gina,” I heard another maid call out my name.

“Yes,” I replied, realizing it was one of the new maids that were brought for Gwen as a present.

“I was asked to give you this,” she said, handing me a neatly folded paper.

“Thanks,” I said to her, curiously looking at the paper before unfolding it.

“We are at your parent’s house; meet us there now,” the note on the paper read.

Since I didn’t get to see the name of the person or persons that wrote the note, I was immediately concerned for my parents’ safety.

So I looked for a way to stylishly leave the palace without anyone noticing me as I dashed to my parent’s house. It didn’t take me long to get to our section of the pack.

Everything seemed to be normal, and even though a few people were surprised to see me, they just assumed that maybe I had come home to grab something.

My house on the outside looked very quiet, and as I moved closer, my heart was panting loudly. Forgetting my manners, I pushed on the door only to see my mom and dad seated on our old couch with concerned looks on their faces.

“Mum, dad, are you alright?” I questioned as I ran to both of them.

“Hey Gina,” Denver called out my name.

To say my soul almost jumped out of my body would be underplaying my shock at that moment.

I turned to see him and his brothers, all dressed in black hoodies and comfortably seated around our dinner table.

“What are you guys doing here?” I questioned angrily, standing between them and my parents.

“I told you guys this was a bad idea; look at how she is panting and worried,” Devon scolded his brothers.

“You need to relax, Gina; your parents are fine; we only called you here because we needed to speak with you; and most importantly, I wish you a happy birthday now, in case we get too busy tonight,” Derrick said.

“We went shopping this morning, and each of us got you something for your birthday,” Devon said, standing up to bring out three large shopping bags that I didn’t know were there all along.

“We weren’t sure the type of cake you wanted; we bought all the different flavors of cupcakes we saw at the shop,” Derrick said, bringing out a box of cupcakes that was nicely wrapped.

Somehow their gesture and the fact that they had even thought of me in the first place made my eyes water.

“We know you are leaving; we can all feel it even if we don’t understand why. We all have been having that feeling for a while now, so we want to let you know that if that is what you want, then you can go anywhere you choose. Even though it would hurt us, we will be glad about the fact that you will be happy wherever you are. But before you go, we don’t want you to hate us; we want you to always smile when you think of us,” Devon said, and his words and voice made my heart yell for him and his brothers.

“Why are you guys doing this to me? It’s not fair; you all know what we want is not possible,” I said, sobbing.

My parents were speechless as to what was happening, as they kept staring at us in total awe.

“We love you, Gina, and we sincerely wish you would stay with us,” Denver said, his eyes piercing into mine.

“As what?” I asked him.

“Whatever you want,” he said and paused as if reflecting on his next set of words. “But one thing you should know is that we will not let anything harmful come close to you.”

“What about your Luna?” I questioned.

“She will only be mated to all three of us for some time, after which she will have to pick just one,” Devon explained.

“And what if she picks all three of you?” I inquired.

“It wouldn’t change a thing; we love you, and you will have equal rights with her,” Derrick said and as convincing as they all sounded, I couldn’t help but think about Gwen’s feelings.

I can’t imagine the pain she will be put through when she gets to know that her triplets are going to be keeping a mistress after they are mated.

“I can’t; I am sorry; I can’t be the other woman in your lives; if I can’t be the only woman, then it’s not meant to be,” I said sadly.

“Thank you so much for the gifts; I truly appreciate them, but you guys should leave now.” “I don’t want my parents getting into trouble because of me,” I said to them, trying hard to ignore the intense piercing in my heart.

They hesitated a little, after which they all started leaving one after the other, after ensuring their faces were properly covered with their hoodies.

And at that moment, I have never been more confused in my entire life. Should I stay and allow myself to become their mistress, or should I go out there and take my chances of finding my mate who may or may not accept me?
