Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Chapter 697

Erica muttered in confusion, "Is Marion planning for you to work?"

She couldn't quite wrap her head around what Marion was up to.Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

Since early that morning, they had all been in a flurry of activity, helping Debra get ready. She had anticipated some grand proposal event, but instead, Marion had Randy drive them to the McKinney Group headquarters. Several employees huddled together, their eyes fixed on the car.

"Hey, check it out. Is that a Ferrari?"

"Is some big-shot CEO visiting our company today? I didn't hear anything about it."

...

As Randy lowered the car window and removed his sunglasses, those female employees couldn't help but blush. His eyes scanned the crowd, causing a flutter of excitement among the onlookers.

He was a regular guest to different companies, and his looks were good, making him quite popular among the female employees.

"Isn't that Mr. Osborne? What brings him here?"

"He's looking at me."

"No way. He's obviously looking at me."

They elbowed each other as Randy opened the car door.

The employees exchanged excited whispers, their eyes following his every move.

"He's getting out. He's dashing."

"It's been ages since Mr. Osborne last came. He must be here to meet our new GM, right?"

"I think so. Ms. Blair is a real

socialite, and she's engaged to Mr. Nichols Now that Nichols Group has invested in our company, Mr. Osborne must be here to meet her."

...

Randy heard their whispers and chuckled inwardly, 'Shelia? Not worthy of my attention.'

The internet really had no memory. The scandal of Shelia's alleged crime had only just blown over a few months ago, and now, thanks to her engagement to Juan, she had returned to the public eye with her reputation cleaned up. It was just laughable.

Randy opened the rear car door and helped Erica out of the car. Those employees looked on enviously.

Everyone knew that Erica was Caleb's niece. Only someone of her status could warrant such gentlemanly treatment from Randy.

But then, to everyone's surprise, Randy offered his hand again, this time to Debra. The moment she stepped out of the car, the onlookers froze in shock. Murmurs of disbelief rippled through the crowd.

"Wait, isn't that Ms. Frazier? The one who got fired? Why is she back?"

"You haven't heard? It was all over the internet. Mr. Houston was her rumored lover, and they are engaged."

"Wow. Good looks change everything. She got divorced, and now she's marrying into another rich family."

...

They gossiped openly, and Randy walked toward them.

Their faces glowed with anticipation, but once Randy was near them, he snapped, "You three are fired."

Randy held shares in the McKinney Group and was a board member, so his authority to dismiss employees was unquestioned. Normally, he was approachable, especially with the female staff. He had never lost his temper in the office.

His sudden outburst stunned those employees.
