Chapter 90
"Zack Zimmer is truly the hope for our family!"
"Looks like even without that 'somebody' who went this morning, the Yorks would contact us after all."
The crowd changed their standpoints again, this time turned against Mandy Zimmer.
"You sure about that Zack?" Senior Zimmer asked with a frown on his face.
"Of course!" Zack replied as he called Wendy Sorrell and put her on the speaker.
"Hello, Mr. Zimmer." Wendy's soft voice came out from the speaker.
"Hello Ms. Sorell, I've already notified Senior Zimmer about your visit tonight, may I know when will you arrive?" Zack replied with a smirk.Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.
"No need to cause a scene, I'm just here to hand some stuff over to you." Wendy replied.
"My pleasure. Do you need a ride?" Zack offered.
"No need, I have my own transport, I'll arrive around 7pm." Wendy replied.
"Alright, we'll be waiting for your arrival!" Zack replied with a proud look before hanging up the call.
'Stuff? What stuff? Could it be the contract?' The crowd was astonished.
"Zack, I remember she told you to get lost a few days ago, how come..." Senior Zimmer asked with a surprised look.
"Grandpa, don't you know what every woman wanted was fortune? I had already sent a few hundred thousand dollars worth of presents to her for the past few days, I bet she had already fallen for me! Don't forget to let me claim the money back after everything's done, grandpa!" Zack answered with a smirk.
"No problem! You can even get the CEO title if you want after you bring us profit." Senior Zimmer offered.
"Grandpa, you're not being fair!" Mandy protested as she worked hard to get the deal but at the end, all the glory and recognition was given to Zack.
"Fair? Mandy Zimmer, you're not the only one who has something under your sleeves. You only managed to get a nearly useless deal, while I got their manager over for a visit! It's not that I stole your glory, it's just that you weren't capable enough to keep it." Zack taunted with a humiliating tone.
