Amelia POV

That’s afternoon, I decided to go to Dylan’s home and confront him. Coming out of the house was a problem, a huge crowd stood at the front of my house. I couldn’t even open mine “This is all Dylan’s fault and the bitch he called his fiancee” I yelled angrily when I thought of what I was facing.

“What’s going on Amelia? “My mother asked as she looked through the window.

“Something I’m going to solve today” I replied biting my nails.

“Don’t do anything drastic Amelia “my mother warned and I nodded in response.

When the evening came, I looked through my window and when I didn’t see anyone in front of my house, I came outside and look for a taxi

“Miss Amelia, what’s do you have to say to the news going on about you?” some paparazzi rushed at me. I thought they left, luckily for me a yellow taxi stopped in front of me and I quickly entered with them running after me.C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.

“You must be popular to have this kind of people following you”the taxi driver commented. I smiled at him and told him where I was going, I was in no mood to argue or talk to anyone right now.

I stopped in front of the Blackstone mansion, the securities came to meet me and asked what my business was.

“I’m just here to see my boss concerning his wedding, here is my ID “I showed them my ID card, they spoke amongst themselves and after an eternity they opened the gate. “Note the sarcasm”.

I walked into the mansion, some other people I guessed were there for the wedding gave me a weird look, some of them laughed at me as I walked in. I didn’t acknowledge them cause I was there for one reason, I was there to set things right.

“What are you doing here? “Rebecca asked as I walked in, I met her in the living room with some group of her friends. She stood up and walked to me with a glare. I stared at her face before looking away. “Are you deaf? Or you have turned to Luciana? ” she mocked.

“Don’t you dare talk about my mother like that? Well, I didn’t come here for you I came for Dylan. Where is he? ” I pinched my hand to calm myself down.

“Isn’t she the whore posted on the internet, why is she here?

“Doesn’t she have any shame? ”

“I wonder what some girls would do for money”. These were all the comment from her Rebecca’s friend.

I didn’t come here for them but giving me names I don’t deserve, I wasn’t going to let it pass.

“Well if I’m a whore then you are an old slut” I replied to the first woman that called me a whore, her face was caked up with all different kinds of cosmetics, she looked like a freaking barbie.

“And you… “I pointed to the second woman that said I have no shame. “You are the shameless one here no wonder you have no husband”. I didn’t know the woman but I just guessed she had no husband and with her mouth wide open, she confirmed my guess.

“How about you? “I pointed to the last woman, Rebecca cleared her throat to gained my attention but I wasn’t finished. “You don’t have the right to judge me when all you do is follow friends and leech them off their money. “When I was done talking, the three women carried their bags and head towards the door.

“Ruby, Alisha, Mary. Why are you guys leaving”Rebecca questioned?

“I think the insults I got today are enough “one of the women spoke on the other’s behalf and they left.

“You see what you’ve caused, you useless whore ”

“Oh shut it, Rebecca, I’m done with your stupid threats. What the heck is wrong with you? “I shouted at her, she was getting on my nerves and I was ready to give it to her. I heard some footsteps on the stairs and I turned to face the person coming from the stairs.

“What’s going on here? “Dylan asked as he walked to the living room.

“This girl just barge into my house and started insulting my friends “Rebecca reported.

“Oh Rebecca, Rebecca, when would you stop all your lies?” I clapped my hands at her lies.

“What’s going on here, Amelia don’t you dare insult my mother” Dylan retorted.

“oh, really Dylan? I didn’t come for Rebecca I came for you.”I smiled as I walked to where he was standing and gave him a resounding slap. The room grew silent. “Ouch my hand ache”

“This girl has gone crazy, securities get her out” Rebecca yelled.

“Don’t you dare call the securities on me Rebecca “I warned her then I pointed a finger at Dylan, he looked shocked? “Yes I just slapped you, Dylan, how dare you watched me getting humiliated on the internet, I never asked for my life to be as complicated as this. What did I do wrong? Is it a crime to fall in love?!!! “I shouted, my emotions getting the best of me.

Dylan opened his mouth to talk but I shushed him. “You know what Dylan, I don’t want to ever see you near me again and I quit, I quit from your life and your office. Have fun getting married to the person you love.”I confessed and walked to the door, Dylan called my name and I stopped in my track. “What? “I asked facing him.

“You put all the blame on me when you left me years ago.”

“You think I wanted to leave, I had no option left, I had to leave. Don’t make this about you. Stop being selfish!! ” I shouted on top of my voice.

Dylan chuckled lightly before replying to me. “You have no, do you? Do you know how many sleepless nights I had when you left? You are the selfish one here Amelia, you left me without explaining or telling me why you did so.

“Well your mother here has answers to everything, she is the reason for everything. “I pointed to where Rebecca was standing, she averted her eyes from us and looked elsewhere.

“Are you blaming this on my mother Amelia?. “Dylan scoffed and then he started laughing.

“Laugh all you want Dylan”. He stopped laughing and gave me a look I couldn’t explain. “We are going to be fine,” I said referring to my baby. “Goodbye Dylan and please clear my name from the internet, for I’m a nobody right?” I said referring to the interview he attended a week ago. I gave him a long look before walking out.

When I came outside the gates, I let out a scream of freedom. “Yeah!!!!! “I shouted and jumped.

My phone rang in my pocket, I pulled it out and read the caller’s name. “Larry!! ” I contemplate on whether to pick it up or not, after the phone rang two times I picked at the third ring. “Hey, Larry! “I shouted joyfully.

“Amelia, this is Sophia I’m sorry about what I said and you’ve not been picking my calls. I’m sorry Amelia. Where are you? Can you come over to my house “Sophia requested. I stared at the phone thinking about what to say.

“I’ll come okay”I promised, I walk to the side of the road looking and waiting for a taxi, Sophia was still talking to me on the phone. All my attention was on her, I didn’t realize a car was heading to me at full speed, the car made contact with me and I was thrown away to the other side of the road, my phone that was in my hand crashed into pieces due to the fall.

I clutched my stomach as I landed on the floor. The owner of the car that hit me came down and walked to me.

“Hey there Amelia”. The person said, I know that’s voice.

“Kelly “I whispered.

“You guessed right Amelia, I couldn’t think you could be so stupid. The elevator, the fire, the posts on the internet was all me”Kelly laughed as she confessed to her crimes.

“Why? “I asked groaning in pain.

“Call it revenge for my friend Anna, at first I wanted to get my revenge on you for humiliating me in front of Dylan. the first time I saw you I resented you and when you made Dylan insulted me I resented you more and then you send my brother to prison!!. “She shouted and kicked me on the stomach.

“My baby” I whispered.

“I followed you everywhere then I decided to get rid of you, no one humiliates me and getaway. You could have died in that elevator but somehow Dylan found you and it makes me angrier. I know you are pregnant for Dylan. I know everything and now you and your baby are going to die. I finally got my revenge. You lose, Goodbye Amelia “Kelly laughed and entered into her car, she drove away and left me on the roadside bleeding to death.

I hold my stomach and cried as I felt blood flowing down my legs, my baby was gone!!. I closed my eyes and thought about all my life and the time spent with Dylan. Then I blacked out. Goodbye Dylan…
