I wiped my tears and fell silent.Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
I had embarrassed myself in the fire, and now, with his inexplicable feelings towards me, we had nothing more to say. “You next…” he began, but was interrupted by a sudden, urgent ringtone.
It was Yannis calling.
“Jasmine, where are you?” Yannis’s anxious voice came through, his breathing heavy with tension.
I glanced at Ian, who pursed his lips and frowned slightly.
He was not happy.
“Jasmine, answer me!”
Yannis shouted.

When when I rejected him, he waited downstairs with a weapon.
Yannis had intervened and taken him to the police, but then blamed me for not rejecting him sooner.
I had rejected him outright the first time, but Yannis still held it against me, using it as an excuse to hurt me. I have no control over what others want to do.
But since then, Yannis has always been causing trouble for me.
However, I have always believed that it wasn’t my fault.
Nor is it a reason for him to keep hurting me using his ex–girlfriend as an excuse.
Thinking of this, I made up my mind and said, “Don’t come.‘
“We’re over.”
