Chapter 3082
The plane landed in Taronia in no time, and Ivy made a video call to Avery as soon as she stepped out of the airport.
Though there was a time difference between Aryadelle and Taronia, Avery specifically asked that Ivy called her after she landed. "Mom, I'm heading to the hotel now." It was late in Aryadelle, so Ivy did not want to disturb Avery's rest.
"Send me the location and the video of your room once you arrive at your room," Avery said.
"Sure."Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
Ivy hung up and headed to the hotel along with her bodyguard.
Once they arrived at the presidential suite and set their suitcases down, Archer asked, "Ivy, do you want to eat or rest?"
"I'm not tired, so let's grab a bite!"
"And after that?" he asked.
"I will take you around. Everything looks the same as it did three years ago. Nothing has changed."
Ivy did not sleep much on the plane, and now that she arrived at the hotel, she felt even less tired.
Archer chuckled. "Ivy, I've never seen you this happy before."
Ivy touched her face. "Really? I'm always happy when I'm with my parents!"
"You seem very excited now," Archer observed.
"Well, it's been a long time since I came back here. I lived here for over a decade, and even though I don't have relatives here, this land still feels familiar and dear to me," Ivy explained. Archer did not fully understand, but he respected her feelings.
After having dinner at the hotel restaurant, Ivy took Archer to explore the streets.
"Archer, let's rent a car later!" Ivy said as she planned to visit her grandmother's grave.
"Sure, do we need to go far?" Archer asked.
"A bit far! I want to visit my grandmother's grave. The buses here take a long time to arrive. It's more convenient to have our own car," Ivy replied.
"Alright, the hotel should have car rental services. Shall we ask the staff there?" Archer suggested.
"Okay! You go check, and I'll go to the supermarket to buy some snacks. We can eat them on the way," Ivy said.
Archer went to rent the car, and Ivy went to the supermarket.
Fifteen minutes later, Archer pulled up in front of the supermarket.
Ivy came out carrying a bag of snacks and a bottle of water for Archer. "Archer, let's first go to a flower shop and buy some flowers."
"Sure! Do you know where there's a flower shop, or should I use the car's navigation system?" Archer asked.
"Just use the navigation to search," Ivy replied.
As Ivy reminisced about her time in Taronia, she could not believe she could now afford to spend so freely.
Twenty minutes later, Archer parked the car in front of a florist.
Ivy got out and went inside to buy flowers.
She loved all kinds of flowers and pointed out the flowers she wanted with her fingers. "This one, this one, and this one... Mister, I want all the flowers displayed at the entrance." The flower shop owner was overjoyed as he had never encountered such a generous customer before.
Archer walked over and reminded
Ivy, "Ivy, kthought you were going to visit the grave? Isn't it enough to buy some chrysanthemums and carnations for that purpose? Why do you need so many roses?"
"There aren't that many rules about visiting the grave. When I didn't have money before, I only gave my grandmother wildflowers from the roadside. If I had money back then, I would have bought her many
beautiful flowers. She was
woman
too, and she would surely have liked roses," Ivy explained.
Archer nodded. If Ivy liked it, then she could buy as many flowers as she wanted. After all, the Foster family had plenty of money, and she could have easily bought the entire flower shop if she wanted to.
