His Eagle Eyes on Me

Chapter 3142

Ivy followed her parents into the room where the dresses were placed and chose a pink gown.

"Mom, I think I'll wear this one for the event!" Ivy was quite fond of the dress. This is the property of Nô-velDrama.Org.

"You can choose a few more outfits! The wedding will last two days, so you can wear a few different dresses each day!" Avery enjoyed dressing her daughter.

Ivy laughed. "That's too much! It's not my wedding, so I'm just going to stick to one dress per day!"

She did not want to steal the spotlight from the bride. Ivy picked up a light blue outfit. "This one will be great for the second day."

"All right! Do you want to look at the room where your brother will spend his wedding night?"

Ivy could not help but chuckle. "Of course! I'm curious about how you've decorated the room."

"We didn't decorate their bedroom. That was Shelly's mother," Avery explained.

Avery respected her in-laws; though Shelly's family tended to tiptoe around the Fosters and allowed the Fosters to make most of the decisions, the room was set up according to the traditions of Shelly's hometown by her mother.

The accommodation was not far from the wedding venue, just a five-minute walk away. Avery opened the door to the room, and Ivy was immediately greeted by red.

The room was covered with words of blessing, as well as red and gold balloons. The bed was adorned with a red wedding bedding set and covered in red rose petals.

"This looks so vibrant and festive!" Ivy exclaimed with a smile. "Has Hayden seen the room?"

"Yes, he did! He came to see it after it was set up."

Ivy could not help but ask, "And what was his reaction?"

Hayden preferred minimalist styles, and his room was usually either monotonous gray or white, with very few elements of any other color. This room was dominated by gold and red, so it seemed to clash with his usual icy image.

"He was probably a bit surprised at first, but he's very adaptable. It's just for two days, not a lifetime. Even if e

he doesn't like it, he won't say anything." Avery chuckled. "Why

don't you go check out your room?"

"Sure! Mom, how are Austin and Audrey going to sleep during the event?" Ivy was genuinely concerned. After all, a hotel was hardly as convenient and comfortable as being at home.

"Your dad and I will take care of Austin, and Shelly's mom will take care of Audrey," Avery said. "Shelly's mom is really great at taking care of the children, and I can only dream of having her skills." "You are just being modest, Mom," Ivy said.

"No, I'm not. Shelly's mom read

many books about childraising when

she was looking after Audrey!

Shelly's dad is reliable and

down-to-earth, so even though they aren't wealthy, they are trustworthy," Avery said and was instantly reminded of Lucas. "Which is more than I can say for Lucas' family."

"Mom, are you trying to say that Lucas' family isn't reliable?"

"Do you think otherwise?"

"Lucas has already severed ties with his father and is now living with his mom. His mom is sick and has been hospitalized, so he is living alone right now."

"I'm not talking about the situation he is in right now but the impact his family has had on his personality. Shelly was raised in a loving, healthy family, and look how great she turned out!" Sorrow crept across Ivy's face. "Mom, if that's the case, my background is even worse than Lucas'."
