“Sydney! You can’t just do that!” I yelled at her, “That’s mine!” she showed no remorse for what she did, in fact, she looked furious right now, “Why would you do that? Are you crazy?”

She drank her hot coffee, before looking back at me, “What did I tell you? Don’t accept any gifts from anyone, right? That’s why you almost got killed, Vera! Weren’t you listening to me?! Huh? I keep repeating not to do that again! You stubborn biatch!”

“I was a kid back then, and this bracelet was a gift from someone I hope I help! You can’t just rip off that of me, that’s mine!” I’m not mad, I’m just flustered, she sometimes does that, especially if it’s about these items.

“You know my grandma is a shaman, right? I knew all the kinds of amulets, but it’s not for safekeeping, Vera, someone else, wants your body again, didn’t I tell you that you have a rare aura?”

I sighed, out of frustration, not because Sy was wrong, it was the other way around. She witness how I actually almost got killed, someone gave me a ring, saying it was a gift for helping him, turns out, it was some kind of amulet that marks someone if they wanted to take over someone’s else body.

The mall was seven minutes away from the café, I didn’t have anything to buy, since payday is far from today, I can’t just spend money on clothes or things that I won’t use, I just accompanied Sy, she kept on insisting to buy me clothes, but I also keep on rejecting her; I won’t let her pamper me again, like what she has done from the past years.

Then, someone who like them saved me, and even helped me with my bags, he seemed kind, Aaron, his name was oddly familiar, like I have seen him or heard his name somewhere, I was surprised myself, that I let him accompany me without hesitation.

Gold is one of the rarest aura colors, people with this aura usually have protected by the divine, they are guided by a holy one, and their souls were near to perfection, molded by so much pressure and tough times.

Black, has always been a picture of misfortune, however, people with this aura often is being close to death, their time on the earth was limited, and they are selfish and stubborn, it will take forever to change that.

Gray, people with this aura are always skeptical; trust is not for them, even with tons of facts, and evidence before them; they always see the glass half empty, but they are great allies, they are prepared to offer someone their lives.

White, most people have this aura, it was well known to be a balance aura; they are neither good nor bad, they aren’t giver nor receiver. They are just balanced, standing in between, they don’t often go to a battle they may be exposed to; they always work behind.

Blue, must be the rarest aura color, this signifies royalty; abundance, and wisdom, they tend to have an old soul; they are wise and strong-spirited. They are not easy to sway, however, death is always next to them.

I sighed, I guess being royalty doesn’t always bring good. My aura was white, so, I’m one of those living with a balance life, jeez, the perks of seeing my own aura.

My gaze switches from the book to the window, and when my curtains are suddenly hit by a strong wind, I stand up and immediately closed my glass window, I forgot to close it earlier, since I hang my clothes. I was about to go back to bed when I felt the utmost pain in my chest.

“Ahhh,” I mumbled, I could not breathe, this was the worst pain I could have ever experienced, my body couldn’t take the pain that I actually fell on the floor.

I heard a female voice in my head, followed by a sinister laugh, am I hearing things? Am I hallucinating? Fuck! What’s happening?!

“Ah, fuck, w-who, who are you,” I tried to look around my room, but there was no one but me, am I going crazy?

Her laughter echoed in my head, which make it more painful, I don’t know, what I should grab first, my head or my chest, my head feels like pooping anytime.
