“Eagle!” Hailey screamed and quickly approached her child as it pushed Joker away. “What have you done?” Eagle just rolled her eyes and ran closer to Dylan. “Eagle!” Hailey shouted.

“All right, never come near me again. I will not give you food and let you watch cartoons.” I laughed because the way Hailey disciplined her daughter wouldn’t seem like her child was only four years old.

“Eagle, say sorry to Joker so that your mommy won’t fight us.” Eagle looked at Dylan then looked at Joker. “All right, your mommy won’t let us out anymore.” She came down and then approached Joker and touched his head.

“Tolly, Tokel.” She even stroked Blaze’s son’s head. Joker smiled at her. But when she turned around she rolled her eyes.

“Very good!” Dylan ruffled Eagle’s hair then hugged her.

The other kids have their own world. Lightning is with me while Thunder is with Yara. The twins haven’t been able to walk much yet.

“You tragedies, hurry up to walk so you can keep up with the race,” Dylan said but Eagle covered his mouth. It’s not that we’re jealous of our children that Dylan’s favorite is Eagle. But amongst the kids, we can say that Dylan really likes Eagle. Sometimes he even borrows her for a walk. Maybe because Eagle is joyful and sweet to Dylan.

We are here at Jace’s house to celebrate Juicy’s second year. The guests leave already and we are the only friends here and our families.

“Do you think that the day will come when we will be like this?” Blaze said.

“It’s like yesterday we only know playing in bed,” Jace seconded.

“It’s just you,” Blaze said again.

“Yes, Blaze is so delicate with women,” Phoenix said.

“But Zeus is really crueler. Apart from almost every day, with a different woman, she can make them hospitalized. Bitter Yara, you did not—–”

“Shut up, Jace,” I scolded him and looked at Yara.

“Who can’t be hospitalized with Zeus, aside from being bigger than us he has earrings also,” Blaze said laughing.

“But seriously, who would have thought we would be happy like this? I mean, we used to be happy but we are happier now that we have families.” It’s Phoenix.

“Yeah, we have been through a lot. We thought that having partying, and drinking is all we need. After work, searching for a woman to release our lust. Now, after work go home because there is a family that waiting on us,” Jace said. “I never imagine myself to be under by a woman,” he added.

“So do I, I never thought that I would love the woman that I hated the most,” Phoenix said.

“And I never thought that I would fall in love for the first time,” Blaze said.

“And who would have thought that I would be weak because of the woman,” I said.

“Yuck, eww!” We looked at Dylan.

“What?” Dylan asked us when we look at him. “What’s your problem?”

“Don’t pay any attention to Dylan,” Dane said.

“Come on Eagle, let’s not come here and we might be infected by these people.” He stood up and carried Eagle to another child.

“Our love is like a fairy tale, we fall in love with the same person twice.” We all look at Blaze because of what he said.

“Yeah, yeah,” Jace seconded and laughed out loud. Phoenix and I looked at each other then he looked at Hailey and I looked at Yara. I think what Blaze said is right. We have all been in love twice with the ones we love.

Jace and Blaze told us about their wives. This is what they are referring to that they kissed and suddenly disappeared. While Phoenix, he loves Hailey when he was young but he hates after and fall for her again. And me, I love Yara back then but I fought my feelings the second time we met but then again, I failed because I loved her more now even more.

“Wait, I need to check something.” We look at Dane when she gets up and leaves. Everyone is busy with their wives when Yara talks to me.

“Zeus.”

“I wish Dane will find her match. I mean I am not jealous of her anymore. I just want her to be happy. I feel guilty for what I did to her when I was pregnant with the first twin.”

“She understands. Dane is open-minded. Cool and calm.”

“Dane is the kind of woman that when she wanted something, she doesn’t know the word tired.”

“What about us?” she asked. I moved Lightning in my left arm.

“Is she ok? Maybe she’s hungry, “Hailey said with a concerned voice.

“No, she’s fine, I think she’s dreaming,” I said but the teasing smile of the three didn’t escape me.

“It hasn’t changed, the daughter scolded her,” Blaze said.

“Let’s do that too, love, can we?” Maggie said.

“Which one?” Margot and Hailey asked innocently.

“Nothing, only legends knew then,” Maggie replied and two ladies frown their foreheads.

“You’re embarrassing,” Yara whispered but I just smiled.

“Yara.”

“What?” She asked with a frown.

“I love you.” I saw her blush while pouting. “I really love you.”

“Zeus, you always tell me that, and I still answer the same that I love you too.”

Thank you, Yara, thank you, baby, for not getting tired of waiting for me to tell you that I love you. Thank you for not giving me up. I am lucky because I love you and you love me.”

“Zeus,” I wiped her tears and kissed her eyes and then her forehead.

“I will love you for the rest of my life, Yara. I will be your shield to protect you and a weapon who will fight for you to make sure you won’t get hurt. You will never be hurt again. I first, I will be hurt first before you. You will have nothing else to experience from now on but pure joy with me.”
