Aunt Bruton waved her hand at Kason, urging him to go find someone.

Kason didn't waste any time and quickly left the house, making phone calls to inquire about the Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

progress. But they still hadn't found Sandy. It was as if the car had evaporated after leaving the

overpass; they couldn't locate it no matter how hard they tried. Kason made several calls, but the

results were the same.

In frustration, Kason got into his car and dialed Brandon's number. When the call was picked up,

Brandon's voice came through, "Bro?"

"How's it going over there? Haven't found Sandy yet?" Kason asked directly.

Brandon responded with an acknowledging sound, "She's safe for now, won't be any trouble."

"Do you know where she is?"

Brandon answered, "I don't know, but I know who she's with."

Kason inquired, "Who? Do you know this person?"

"Anthony."

Hearing the name Anthony, Kason felt a sense of familiarity but couldn't quite place it. Brandon didn't

elaborate and chatted briefly before ending the call.

After hanging up, Brandon attempted to call Sandy again, but her phone remained switched off. With

one hand on the steering wheel, Brandon dialed Zane's number.

The call connected after a while, but the voice on the other end wasn't Zane's-it was Yanis'. "Mr.

Hawkins?"

Upon hearing Yanis' voice, Brandon hesitated for a moment before speaking in his usual tone, "Is Zane

there?"

"He just got back from outside and is taking a shower. Do you need to talk to him?" Yanis asked.

Brandon responded with an acknowledging sound, "I need to ask him something."

At this point, Brandon wasn't ready to disclose the situation to Yanis.

"Do you want me to take the phone to the bathroom, so you can talk to him?" Yanis offered.

After a brief pause, Brandon replied, "No need. Let him finish his shower, and ask him to call me back."

Yanis acknowledged, "Sure, I'll have him call you back."

Brandon replied with a word of thanks before ending the call.

Just as he was about to put down the phone, it rang again.

"Did you find her?" Brandon asked immediately after picking up the call.

Berton's voice came through, "Yes, I've found her. I'm sending you the location on your phone."

Brandon acknowledged with a sound before hanging up. Berton quickly sent the location.

Brandon took a look and then drove toward the destination.

At that moment, on the outskirts of Viteto.

When Sandy opened her eyes, she felt disoriented. Her stomach churned, and it took a while for the

indescribable nausea to subside.

As she attempted to sit up, the door was pushed open.

Sandy followed the movement and saw Anthony entering the room. She sat up straight and asked,

"Where am I?"

Anthony approached and placed the porridge he was holding on the bedside table. Then he looked at

Sandy and asked in a low voice, "Are you feeling unwell?"

Shaking her head, Sandy replied, "I'm okay."

Anthony motioned towards the bowl on the side. "Eat something. You haven't had anything for most of

the day, and you're not alone now."

Hearing Anthony's words, Sandy hesitated for a moment, then raised her head to look at him. In a low

voice, she asked, "Do you know any doctors?"

Anthony looked at Sandy. "Are you feeling unwell?"

That was Anthony's immediate response.

Sandy shook her head. "No, I want to have a procedure done."

She didn't explicitly mention what the procedure was about, but Anthony understood anyway. "You're

having second thoughts?"

Sandy shook her head again. "I suddenly feel like being on my own is just fine."

Anthony looked at Sandy for a while before speaking, "What if there's a misunderstanding? Won't you

regret it?"

"What's there to regret? Regret is the cheapest thing in the world."

Anthony was about to say something, but Sandy's voice interrupted him, "So, do you know anyone?"

Anthony fell silent for a few seconds. "Yes."

"In that case, could you help me out? I'll treat you to a meal later."

Anthony didn't respond verbally, but he reached out and handed Sandy the bowl. "Eat something first,

and I'll see if I can arrange something."

Sandy didn't have any quarrels with him this time. She reached out and took the bowl from Anthony's

hand. "Is this still Viteto?"

Anthony nodded. "We're in the suburbs. This house belongs to a friend of mine. He's not in Viteto at the

moment, so it's been empty."

Sandy nodded in understanding and lowered her head to stir the porridge in the bowl with a spoon.

"Better eat while it's hot," Anthony advised.

Sandy acknowledged with a sound.

However, after only a few spoonfuls, she put the bowl down. "I'm done."

Seeing that the porridge had barely been touched, Anthony frowned slightly. "Have a bit more?"

Sandy shook her head. "I'm full. I want to sleep some more."

Anthony looked at her but eventually didn't say anything. He reached over, picked up the bowl, and

stood up. "Call me if you need anything. I'll be outside."

Sandy acknowledged with a sound and then lay back down, closing her eyes.

Whether she was genuinely tired or for some other reason, Sandy fell asleep quite quickly.

Anthony remained outside the room, not leaving.

"Anthony."

Hiruma approached and called out to him in a low voice.

Anthony looked at Hiruma. "What is it?"

"Brandon is here."

Upon hearing Hiruma's words, Anthony straightened up. "Where is he?"

In truth, Anthony wasn't surprised that Brandon had found his way here. After all, Viteto was Brandon's

territory.

Hiruma responded, "He's downstairs."

Anthony hesitated for a few seconds. "Tell someone to stay here and not disturb her."

Hiruma acknowledged and followed Anthony downstairs.

As Anthony descended the stairs, he spotted a man standing in the living room.

Brandon had also turned to look at Anthony when he heard the footsteps.

As Anthony reached the bottom of the stairs, he approached Brandon and raised an eyebrow playfully.

"Mr. Hawkins is looking for me?"

Brandon looked at Anthony. "Where's Sandy?"

"She's sleeping," Anthony replied without hiding anything, nor did he deny it. He was straightforward

about it.

Brandon squinted his eyes. "I'm here to take her back."

Anthony didn't pay much attention to Brandon's words. He turned and walked over to a sofa, taking a

seat before looking up at Brandon. "Do you think she'll go

with you?"

"This is between me and her," Brandon replied, turning to face Anthony.

Anthony chuckled and lit a cigarette. "I know, but whether she wants to go with you or not is her choice.

My words won't make a difference."

As his words fell, Anthony looked at Brandon and continued, "Heard your green plum isn't faring well.

Isn't Mr. Hawkins being a bit cold-hearted by not sending her off on her last journey?"

There was a hint of mockery in Anthony's words, something that Brandon wasn't oblivious to.

Brandon spoke in a calm tone, "I'm not a doctor or a god. I can't save her."

Anthony chuckled. "Mr. Hawkins is truly heartless."

Brandon didn't engage in Anthony's banter. He spoke calmly, "I'm going to find Sandy."

"Mr. Hawkins."

Anthony called out in a low voice, "Sandy just fell asleep after all this time. Are you sure that after being

with her for so long, you can't even let her have a good night's sleep?"

Anthony's words carried a hint of sarcasm, and Brandon could sense it.

Brandon didn't respond to Anthony's comment. He spoke in a composed manner, "I'll find Sandy."

"Mr. Hawkins."

Anthony's voice was soft, but his words held an undertone of caution. "Sandy just fell asleep. Are you

sure, after being with her for so long, you won't even let her sleep peacefully?"
