I love you till the end, Mr. Buenavista

DRESS

Zachary glances at Samarra, sitting silently in the passenger seat since they left her parents’ house. When he heard her sigh, he even frowned. So, he couldn’t stand what she was thinking or whether she was a problem.

“What’s the problem? Are you okay? Why don’t you say something? Is there anything bothering you?”

He frowned even more as he noticed Samarra’s bored expression on his face.

What exactly is this woman’s issue? If she looks at him as if he were the leading cause.

“What?”

“Cadden, are you serious? Do you want to know why I’m so upset?”

Zachary shook his head when he realized he was the reason Samarra was upset.

Damn!

“Is that why I’m asking?”

“I don’t like the dress you pick for me; I don’t like the design; I don’t like the style. It’s quite weird. How come it comes to your mind that pick that kind of dress?”Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

Zachary was taken aback when he saw Samarra’s frustrated expression. What’s the problem with the gown he chose for her? The shift was lovely, and Zachary saw nothing wrong with that turtleneck long sleeve evening gown in nude color. He knew that dress was perfect for her.

“It’s nice, and I’m sure you’ll like it.”

Zachary’s response to Samarra narrowed her eyes. Did he trip her? How will the dress that is almost wrapped around her look good on her? She even looks at the clothes as if she is unable to breathe.

“That is not what I want. I’m not going to wear that!” As she looked at Zachary’s face, Samarra became irritated. She could see the restraint in his smile, which didn’t seem to be influenced by what she said.

“Okay, we’re not going.” Samarra slapped Zachary’s arm in disgust. Why are they not going? What will his family’s reaction be?

“Samarra Miel,” Zachary said as Samarra slapped his arm again.

He hissed, “I’m driving.”

“Unless you want us to have an accident. Please stop.” Zachary tightened his grip on Samarra’s wrist, irritated. When he realized Samarra was silent, he removed his hand from her wrist and folded his hands to her.

“If you insist on wearing something else, I told you that dress is lovely. We’re no longer going to that event. What do you dislike about the dress I chose, Ara? Do you prefer to flaunt your body? Do you like to show off your body? You are beautiful, and your body is stunning. Instead of showing them your body, show me your body, even if you aren’t wearing clothes.”

Samarra took a deep breath and looked out the window, and she had no idea Zachary would think she wanted to show the body to others. All she wanted was to be free of that style of dress, and Samarra didn’t want to look like a nun about to enter the church. She wasn’t used to wearing such clothes; despite growing up in Australia, she was never liberated.

Samarra didn’t say anything until Zachary parked the car, then went straight into the house. Zachary was blown away as he followed Samarra’s gaze.

When Zachary could adequately park the car, he went inside, first looking for Samarra in the living room. When he couldn’t find her, he went straight to their room. He couldn’t see inside, so he went to the bathroom, knowing Samarra would only come here.

Zachary also waited outside the bathroom for a few minutes until he reached an hour strictly. He knocked Samarra inside because he couldn’t stand it any longer.

“Ara, open the fucking door,” Zachary said over a series of knocks on the door. He nearly broke the door, but Samarra refused to open it.

Until Zachary became bored and left in front of the door, annoyed, he lay down on the bed and waited for Samarra to come out.

Samarra came out when her tears were exhausted inside the bathroom, and she would have come out sooner if Zachary hadn’t knocked on her door. That’s why she soaked in the bathtub for so long. She was still disgusted by what Zachary had told her. He assumed she just wanted to show off her body to others, so she refused to wear his chosen gown. She wished to be more beautiful that day. She sighed as she made her way to the walk-in closet. When she was finished dressing, she purposefully left the room to go to another, but it was all locked. So, she had no choice but to return to their room.

Samarra leaned slowly over the bed without waking Zachary, and she immediately placed a pillow between them. She closed her eyes tightly as she felt Zachary move beside her. She remains silent and acts as if she is aware that he is looking at her.

Zachary was startled by a fragrant smell; even though he didn’t open his eyes, he knew it could only be Samarra. He moved quickly to hug her, but he just frowned when he found a large pillow by his side.

Zachary opened his eyes immediately to see why there was a pillow between them. He noticed Samarra on the opposite side of the bed, and she turned away from her habit. He sighed and pushed aside the pad Samarra had placed between them.

“Are you angry with me?” Zachary addressed his question to the woman, who never turned his side.

“Ara.” He stumbled closer to her bed and looked at her face, but Samarra buried her face more profound in the pillow.

Zachary was losing his cool as he looked at Samarra. He had no idea how to approach her. She doesn’t want to look at him, and she doesn’t want to be next to him; she doesn’t keep quiet about his questions.

Zachary sighed before being forced to stand and enter the restroom. He’d take a bath before he forgot about Samarra.

How could he understand if she didn’t speak to him? If Samarra didn’t like the dress he chose, that’s fine. They did not attend the event because he did not want to see Samarra in such a sexy dress. He owns her body.

Zachary shook and stripped naked before entering the shower.

When Zachary finished his bath, he felt at ease, so he exited the bathroom and went straight to their walk-in closet to get dressed. He kept looking at Samarra, sleeping while he was getting dressed. So, Zachary hurriedly dressed and returned to bed. When he saw Samarra’s face, he frowned; tears were visible on her beautiful face.

Did she cry? He enquired of his mind.

Fuck! What did you do, Zachary?

Zachary wiped his face as he gazed at Samarra.

“I’m sorry, love,” Zachary said as he brushed the hair away from Samarra’s face.

Zachary moved in close and wrapped his arm around Samarra’s head. He kissed her on the brow, the eyes, the nose, and the mouth. Touch it until Zachary notices Samarra’s lips moving as well. He smiled because he knew it had jolted her awake.

“I’m sorry,” Zachary apologized in between kisses with Samarra.

When Zachary noticed Samarra’s swollen eye as he looked at her, he became enraged.

“I’m sorry,” he said again.

Samarra fixed her gaze on her husband, who was constantly apologizing to her. She just nodded and squeezed Zachary’s chest; she didn’t want to say anything else; what mattered was that he apologized to her.

“I apologize, Ara; I didn’t mean it.” Samarra nodded and buried her face deeper into Zachary’s chest; she was still terrible on the inside, but it wasn’t good if she fought hard.

“Please, Ara, look at me.” Zachary touched her chin to keep their gazes aligned. So, Samarra did nothing but stare at Zachary.

She closed her eyes when he kissed both of her eyes as if his kiss melted his annoyance and resentment.

“I’m sorry, Ara.”

Samarra looked into Zachary’s eager gaze. She nodded and voluntarily kissed him; she could see how stunned Zachary appeared, unable to believe what she had done. He smiled and quickly returned her kiss.
